Today's obituaries Robert Lee Musser Retired PennDOT designer had daughter in Hermitage BROCKWAY, Pa. -- Robert Lee Musser, Brockway, passed away Tuesday morning (5-8-01) in Butler Veterans Administration Medical Center. He was 58. Mr. Musser was born Nov. 28, 1942, in New Bethlehem, Pa., to Joseph H. and Alice Shick Musser. The U.S. Navy veteran retired from PennDOT as a draftsman designer. He had also worked for URS and R. Robert Kimble Associates as a consultant engineer. He enjoyed hunting and trout fishing. He was a farmer and raised white-faced cattle. Mr. Musser is survived by: his mother, Connoquenessing Township, Butler County; a son, David Musser, Waterford; a daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Traci) Kellar, Hermitage; five grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph "Bimp" Musser, Salisbury, Conn.; and Daniel "Bud" Musser, North East, Md.; two aunts; and a number of nieces and nephews. His father preceded him in death.
MUSSER Erick M. Bahor WE retiree made cabinets, was band leader, sky diver Erick M. Bahor, 1195 W. A St., Masury, died at 8 p.m. Monday (5-7-01) in St. Joseph Hospital, Warren, Ohio. He was 68. Mr. Bahor was born Sept. 14, 1932, in Pittsburgh to Mathew and Mary Mutz Bahor. The 1950 Brookfield High School alumnus retired from Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp. He was a hobbyist cabinetmaker and carpenter and made items for his home including a hutch, pie safe and pergola. Mr. Bahor also constructed his kitchen cabinets. The American Federation of Musicians member played the button box accordion. Mr. Bahor was part of the Girard (Ohio) Mixed Chorus, from which he moved on to form his own band, which performed on the "Polka Varieties" show and made a recording with Johnny Krizancic titled "Fun Fest Polkas." He was a 50-year member of Slovenska Narodna Podporna Jednota (SNPJ) Lodge 31 Slovenia fraternal organization. Mr. Bahor enjoyed sewing and created the Bela Krajina national costume on display in the SNPJ Slovenian Heritage Center. He was a hunter and fisherman and practiced the art of taxidermy. In 1960, Mr. Bahor learned to sky dive and made the U.S. Parachute team for the meet in Portoroz, Slovenia, and his competition was on the ABC-TV "Wide World of Sports." Surviving are: his wife, the former Donna E. Roncaglione, whom he married Dec. 21, 1974; one sister, Olga Moler, Masury; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents and a sister, Frances Garm, preceded him in death.
BAHOR Donna P. Raper Grove City College retiree had worked in food service Donna P. Raper, 1024 Centertown Road, Grove City, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday (5-8-01) in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth P. (Cynthia) Cramer, Greenville, after an 18-month illness. She was 66. Mrs. Raper was born Feb. 23, 1935, in Clarion to Ben and Bertha Rhyal Foust. She retired in 1998 from Grove City College, where she worked for more than 20 years in food service. Mrs. Raper was a Protestant and enjoyed traveling. Besides Mrs. Cramer, surviving are: her husband, William Raper, whom she married Nov. 6, 1965; three other daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Wendy) Nashtock, Sharpsville; Linda Wallace, the wife of U.S. Air Force Sgt. Clarence Wallace, Glenburn, N.D.; and Deborah Houghtaling, Grove City; one half sister, Mrs. Della Reddinger, Detroit; three brothers, Paul L. Foust and W. Ray Foust, both Volant; and David L. Foust, Grove City; and nine grandchildren, Paul and Gabe Cramer, Greenville; Kayleigh and Douglas Nashtock, Sharpsville; Amanda and Tina Wallace, Glenburn; and Tori Houghtaling, Chris Shumate and Brady Rust, all Grove City. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Lawrence A. Lizzie; a son, Larry Lee Lizzie; and her stepmother, Alberta L. Foust. RAPER William G. Trulick William G. Trulick, 1766 Woodside Drive, Hermitage, died at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday (5-8-01) in White-Cliff Nursing Home, Hempfield Township. He was 78. Obituary information was incomplete.
