RUSSO Renee Annette Rubano Cosmetologist-esthetician, '78 WMHS grad did fund-raisers A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday for Renee Annette Rubano of 546 Shenango Blvd., Farrell. She passed away at 2:40 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after an extended illness. She was 41. Born May 6, 1960 in Sharon, Mrs. Rubano was a daughter of Robert L. and Valeria Bohach David. A 1978 graduate of West Middlesex High School, she attended Youngstown State University for two years. Mrs. Rubano was employed most recently as a cosmetologist and esthetician at Studio of Hair Designs in Hermitage for 10 years, specializing in care for skin and nails. She attended several seminars in New York City, Cleveland and Pittsburgh and acquired many certificates with her esthetician's license. Renee received advanced training from European Cosmetics in New York City and was instrumental in the education of young people on care for their skin and nails, as well as cosmetics. She had previously worked for nine years as a packer for G & T Cone Co. (Joy Cone Co.) in Hermitage. Her kindness and compassion was easily visible through her countless efforts to raise money for various charities including Tod Children's Hospital in Youngstown; the American Cancer Society; Prince of Peace Center in Farrell; and the Auxiliary of Sharon Regional Health System, where she helped organize many fashion shows. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Farrell. As a homemaker, Mrs. Rubano enjoyed cooking and baking and spending time with her family, especially in the holiday seasons observing many holiday traditions. Survivors include: her husband, Robert Paul Rubano, whom she married June 4, 1983; one son, Robert Michael Rubano, at home; her parents, Shenango Township; two brothers, Robert J. David and his wife Marsha, Hermitage; and Gary A. David, West Middlesex; her father-in-law, Richard Rubano Sr., Farrell; three brothers-in-law, Richard Rubano and his wife Nancy, Sharon; Dennis Rubano and his wife Mary Chris, Brookfield; and Charles Rubano and his wife Tammy, Farrell; one sister-in-law, Lisa Rubano, Sharon; and several nieces and nephews.

STAUL John E. Braymer Trucker, church deacon was motorcyclist, had sons here MEADVILLE -- John E. Braymer, Cochranton, died at 12:23 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, in Meadville Medical Center. He was 73. Mr. Braymer was born Dec. 28, 1928, in New Castle, a son of Arthur and Margaret Benner Braymer. He had been married to the former Darlene Travers. Mr. Braymer was a lifelong independent truck driver and an avid motorcycle rider. He was a member and deacon of Cochranton Presbyterian Church. Survivors include: two daughters, Stephanie Kapanick, Conneautville; and Holly Black, Cochranton; three sons, John Braymer Jr., Hermitage; James Braymer, Sharon; and Joseph Braymer, Erie; a sister, Julia Thornburg, New Castle; 13 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Mr. Braymer was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Jean Chapin. Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Motorcycle Association in care of Donald Kockritz, 2635 Fairmont Parkway, Erie 16510; or Cochranton Presbyterian Church, 109 Smith St., Cochranton 16314.
BRAYMER Ronald G. Seginak Sr. Sharon Steel retiree was avid automobile collector CLEVELAND -- A funeral service will be held Wednesday for Ronald G. Seginak Sr., Lawrence Avenue, Girard, Ohio. He died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, in University Hospital. He was 70. Mr. Seginak was born Jan. 31, 1932, in Los Angeles to George and Elizabeth Hyrak Seginak. A graduate of Sharon High School Class of 1949, he retired from the former Sharon Steel Corp.'s Farrell plant in 1992 as a millwright, with 30 years of service. Mr. Seginak was an avid automobile collector. His wife, the former Patricia Wilson, whom he married Sept. 25, 1962, died April 16, 1993. Surviving are: his mother, Hermitage; two sons, Ronald G. Seginak Jr. and Dale A. Seginak Sr., both Niles, Ohio; three daughters, Cheryl L. Speziale, Youngstown; Diane C. Ott, Hubbard; and Laurie Ann Cleversy, Girard; one sister, Bernadine Heben, Hermitage; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, Mr. Seginak was preceded in death by his father; and a son, Jon Paul Seginak Sr.

LOVISCKY Leona Anderson Sizer Sharon homemaker was league golfer, bridge player Leona Anderson Sizer, 130 Bentley Ave., Sharon, died at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after an extended illness. She was 85. Mrs. Sizer was born March 8, 1916, in Sharon to Verne Anderson and Cora Turner Anderson. She was a 1936 graduate of Sharon High School. A homemaker, she was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sharon. Mrs. Sizer liked to sew, knit and crochet. She had been a member of Sharon Regional Health System Auxiliary along with several area bridge clubs. Mrs. Sizer enjoyed golfing and was a charter member of the Friday Night Couples Golf League at Yankee Run Golf Course in Brookfield Township. Surviving are: her husband, Carl A. Sizer, whom she married June 14, 1947; three daughters, Linda Miller, wife of Dallas, Boardman, Ohio; and Susan Sizer; and Sandra Bedich, wife of George, both Las Vegas; a son, Carl A. Sizer II, husband of Candace, Sharon; a sister, Margaret Dunn, California; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Sizer was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Tedford and Darrell Anderson.
