Anna Losik Butchko
Homemaker was longtime Moose auxiliary member
Anna Losik Butchko of 15 W. Connelly Blvd., Apartment 208, in Sharon, passed away at 8:10 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2002, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after a brief illness. She was 86.
Born April 14, 1915, in Farrell, Mrs. Butchko was a daughter of the late John and Paraska (Pauline) Bobensky Losik.
A homemaker and Christian, she was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 55 in Farrell.
She enjoyed crocheting and was very talented in making afghans.
Mrs. Butchko was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include: one son, Woodrow "Woody" Fennell, Farrell; one daughter, Bettyann Mancini, Transfer; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Butchko was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Smith; one grandchild, Donna Mancini; and two brothers, Michael and John Losik.

Arthur L. Williams
Shenango Twp. man was WWII vet, Wesex retiree
Arthur L. Williams of 15 Henderson Lane, Shenango Township, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2002, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. He was 80.
Born Dec. 28, 1921, in West Middlesex, Mr. Williams was a son of the late Carl E. and Edna M. Edeburn Williams.
A graduate of West Middlesex High School, he retired from Wesex Corp. in West Middlesex.
Mr. Williams was a United States Army Air Force veteran, having served during World War II in the South Pacific.
He was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6233 in West Middlesex and American Legion in East Brady, Pa.
Mr. Williams was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing.
On Aug. 31, 1944, he married the former Betty J. Fox. She preceded him in death Oct. 3, 1970.
Survivors include: two sons, Lawrence W. Williams and his wife Nancy, Pulaski Township; and David L. Williams and his wife Connie, Shenango Township; one sister, Selina Jackson, Greenville; five brothers, Willard Williams, Francis Williams, Lyle Williams, Ralph Williams and Patrick Williams, all of the West Middlesex area; three grandchildren, Cindy, Dana and Sheri; and three great-grandchildren, Eric, Mariah and Sierra.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy; and three brothers, Edgar, Carl A. and Walter Williams.
