Barbara A. Penn Cortland Christian member belonged to Model A Club FARMDALE, Ohio -- Barbara A. Penn, 7515 Corinth Court, Farmdale, died Monday, June 17, 2002, in her residence. She was 60. Mrs. Penn was born Jan. 25, 1942, in Youngstown to Harry Wisler and Mary Freet Wisler. A longtime Johnston Township, Trumbull County, resident, Mrs. Penn had worked for General Electric Ohio Lamp plant in Warren for more than 29 years as a machine operator, retiring in May of this year. Mrs. Penn was a member of Cortland Christian Church and Five Points Model A Club. She married Jack L. Penn Jr. on June 18, 1960. Mrs. Penn enjoyed crocheting and collecting Beanie Babies. Besides her husband, who also lives at home in Farmdale, she is survived by: a son, Jeff L. Penn, Andover; a daughter, Linda L. Mendik, Mecca, Ohio; a brother, Harry "Sonny" Wisler, Poland, Ohio; a sister, Mary Dike, Pine Mountain, Ga.; and four grandchildren. Mrs. Penn was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Robert Wisler. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Route 46, Canfield, OH 44406. PENN Glenn G. Clark '81 Reynolds graduate was teacher, wrestling coach JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, BUT-LER COUNTY -- Glenn G. Clark, Saxonburg, formerly of Fredonia, died at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2002, in Jefferson Township from injuries sustained as a result of an automobile accident. He was 38. Mr. Clark was born Oct. 15, 1963, in Greenville to Hugh Clark and Rosellen Haney Moller Clark. A 1981 alumnus of Reynolds High School, he graduated in 1986 from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and served as a wrestling coach for Penn Hills Junior High School for seven years. Mr. Clark was currently a wrestling coach at Mars (Pa.) High School and was also a teacher in the Mars School District. In 2001, he was honored with the section 2AA Coach of the Year Award. Mr. Clark was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Saxonburg; and Free and Accepted Masons Victory Lodge 694, Butler. He enjoyed fishing, the Pittsburgh Steelers, playing guitar, gardening and hiking with his dog and with his wife, Annette. Surviving are: his wife, the former Annette Miller, whom he married Nov. 30, 1996, at home; his father and stepmother, Beverly Clark, Ashville, N.C.; his mother and stepfather, Dale Moller, Greenville; two sisters, Kathy Padrta, Minnesota; and Diane Clark, Fox Chapel; and two stepsisters, Bev Zwald and Barbara Prince. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Ethel Clark; and his maternal grandmother, Erma Nemetz. Memorial contributions may be made to the Glenn Clark Memorial Fund in care of Laurel Savings Bank, 125 W. Main St., Saxonburg, PA 16056. CLARK Dr. Spiro Mason Dr. Spiro Mason, Hermitage, died at 10:50 a.m. Monday (6-17-02) in Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He was 65. Obituary information was incomplete. MASON Mary 'Mitzie' C. Germadnik Formerly of Sharpsville, Slovenia native was a caterer Mary "Mitzie" C. Germadnik of Nugent Convalescent Home in Hermitage, formerly of Fairbrooke Way, Sharpsville, passed away at noon Monday (6-17-02) in the home. She was 90. Mrs. Germadnik was born Nov. 1, 1911, in Slovenia, a daughter of Jacob and Marie Kral Troyar. She immigrated to the United States as a child and attended Farrell schools. Mrs. Germadnik owned and operated Mitzie's Catering for 35 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Church of Notre Dame in Hermitage. Mrs. Germadnik also belonged to Slovenska Narodna Podporna Jednota Keystoners Lodge 775 and was a lifetime member of the Slovenian Workingmen's Educational Club's Ladies Auxiliary, Sharon. Her husband, Albert A. Germadnik, whom she married April 11, 1931, passed away Feb. 13, 1999. Surviving are: two sons, Robert A. Germadnik, Alexandria, Va.; and David C. Germadnik and his wife, Jo Ann, New Brighton; and one sister, Esther Watson, Akron, Ohio. She also leaves five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, Mrs. Germadnik was preceded in death by six sisters, Millie Habich, Albertina Babnis, Beatrice Ference, Christine Paulenich, Madeline Troyar and Angeline Jaillet; and one brother, Jacob Troyar.
