Robert L. Frost Former Stoneboro man lived in W.Va., worked for state BECKLEY, W.Va. -- A funeral and committal service will be held Wednesday for Robert L. Frost of 114 Ellen Ave., Beckley, formerly of Stoneboro. He died at 2:20 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2002, in his home in Beckley after an extended illness. He was 76. A West Virginia resident for 32 years, having left Stoneboro in 1970, Mr. Frost was born June 13, 1926, in Stoneboro to Clair L. and Reba E. Turner Frost. He was a 1944 graduate of the former Stoneboro High School and graduated in 1950 from Maryville College of Tennessee. Mr. Frost later graduated in 1955 from Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge and did post-graduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1964-65. He worked for the West Virginia Department of Health, from 1966 to 1979 as a substance abuse counselor. Mr. Frost retired in 1994 as the District Sanitarian water quality inspector. He was a member of the United Methodist Temple of Beckley, where he sang in the choir and was active in the United Methodist Men's Group. Mr. Frost was a member of Raleigh General Hospital Senior Friends Group. He married Norma J. Hodge on Jan. 24, 1970, in Greenville. She survives at home in Beckley. He is also survived by one daughter, Terri; and one brother, Leland Frost, Huntington, W.Va. Mr. Frost was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Margarie Ammer. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 19 Jefferson Ave., Sharon 16146.

UJAKOVICH Jeffrey Lawrence Page Fla. man had grandmothers living in Brookfield CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- Jeffrey Lawrence Page of 10233 Harbor Inn Place, Apartment 23, Coral Springs, formerly of Brookfield and Michigan, was pronounced dead at 6:20 p.m. Friday (6-28-02) in his home of natural causes. He was 29. Mr. Page was born Nov. 2, 1972, in Sharon, a son of Robert C. and Joyce E. Hacker Page. He lived in Brookfield from 1972 to 1977, then resided with his family from 1978 to 1996 in Michigan. His last state of residence was Florida, from 1997 to the present. Mr. Page was an operations manager for his father's company, Everglades Performance Engineering Inc. of Pompano Beach, Fla. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in South Lyon, Mich. Survivors include: his parents, Bob and Joyce Page, Coral Springs; twin brothers, Robb and Jeremy Page, both Northville, Mich.; a stepsister, Mari-Kate Page Templeton, also Northville; his paternal grandmother, Edith Page, Brookfield; his maternal grandmother, Stella Hacker, also Brookfield; and special family members, Ted and Janey Hacker; and their children, Heidi Elmore; and Mandy and Josh Hacker, all Bellbrook, Ohio. Mr. Page was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Oscar Page and Russell Hacker.
