Lloyd L. Lowe Former Farrell man worked for Berwick Steel COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Lloyd L. Lowe, 5479 Red Bird Court, Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Farrell, passed away at 10:09 a.m. Sunday (7-28-02) in Grant Memorial Hospital. He was 41. Mr. Lowe was born Nov. 12, 1960, in Sharon to Elmer Lowe and Ola B. Hollie Lowe. He attended Brookfield schools and was employed at Berwick Steel in Columbus. His wife, Marcy Lowe, whom he married Feb. 16, 1999, survives in Columbus. Also surviving are: one stepdaughter, Michelle Lowe, Transfer; one son, Joel Lowe and his wife Amy, also Transfer; one stepson, Eric McCrary, Sharon; one granddaughter, Shuarri; and one grandson, Marcelle, both Transfer; eight sisters, Judy and May Lowe, both Farrell; Ann and Carolyn Lowe, both Detroit; Pam and Chris Lowe, also Farrell; Karen Wilder, Hermitage; and Meriet Lowe, Pensacola, Fla.; five brothers, Albert and Elmer Lowe, both Farrell; Raymond Lowe, Erie; Jim Lowe, Sharon; and Ronnie Lowe, Greenville; a half-brother, Elmer Lowe Jr., Pensacola; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Mr. Lowe was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, David Thomas.
LOWE Cynthia Leigh Gerba Fish Sharon native, Hickory grad was insurance agent in Va. CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Cynthia Leigh Gerba Fish, Punta Gorda, Fla., died at 11:51 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2002, in Cape Coral Hospital. She was 52. Mrs. Fish was born May 19, 1950, in Sharon to Albert and Grace Feigert Gerba. She was a 1968 graduate of Hickory High School in Hermitage. Mrs. Fish moved to the Punta Gorda area in 1997, after retiring as a commercial insurance agent in Alexandria, Va. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Alexandria. Mrs. Fish enjoyed cooking, travel and sailing. She is survived by: her husband of 21 years, John Fish, Punta Gorda; two stepdaughters, Pam Fish, Winston-Salem, N.C.; and Jan Powell, Cary, N.C.; a stepson, John J. Fish, Topeka, Kansas; a brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Connie Gerba; and her stepmother, Mary R. Gerba, all Brookfield; five grandchildren; and three aunts, Dorothy Syphirt and Lillian Mitcheltree, West Middlesex; and Margarite Feigert, Sharon. A memorial service will be held for friends and relatives at 2 p.m. Aug. 31, 2002, in First Presbyterian Church, Sharon. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Community Child Care Center, First Presbyterian Church, 600 E. State St., Sharon 16146. Edward Kozelski Navy veteran was millwright at Sharon Steel Corp. Edward Kozelski, 3042 Main St., West Middlesex, died at 9:53 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2002, in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Youngstown, after a short illness. He was 77. Mr. Kozelski was born July 15, 1925, in Garfield, N.J., to William Kozelski and Maryann Genski Kozelski. The World War II Navy veteran was a Seaman First Class in the European and Pacific theaters. He retired in 1983 after 18 years as a millwright with Sharon Steel Corp. Mr. Kozelski previously worked five years for the Greenville Police Department and also was employed by the Metropolitan Police in Washington, D.C. He was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd, West Middlesex; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5286, Farrell; and Free and Accepted Masons Lodge 517, Sharpsville. Surviving are: his wife, the former Verna Lorraina Shick, whom he married June 5, 1948; one daughter, Mary Ann Kozelski, Clarion; one son, Gary Kozelski and his wife, Marilyn, Vienna; one brother, Steve Kozell, Buffalo, N.Y.; and one grandson, Joseph Edward Kozelski. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Joseph Kozielski; and his sister, Connie Kozelski. Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Formation Center of Church of the Good Shepherd, 3613 Sharon Road, West Middlesex 16159.
KOZELSKI Ernest E. McIntyre Decorated Vietnam veteran was Fla. painting contractor LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- Ernest E. McIntyre, Lehigh Acres, Fla., formerly of Sharon, died peacefully Sunday morning (7-28-02) in his home. He was 68. Mr. McIntyre was born Jan. 2, 1935 to Edward McIntyre and Mary Dorothy Porterfield McIntyre. He joined the United States Army in 1958 and served honorably for 23 years. His heroism during the Vietnam conflict earned him the Bronze Star and three Purple Heart awards for being wounded in action. He relocated to Lehigh Acres, where he worked as an independent painting contractor, upon his retirement from Fort Campbell, Ky. As an active member of a Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Florida, he served as a commander. Mr. McIntyre was preceded in death by his father, who died in October of 1973; his mother, in November of 1985; and his eldest brother, Edward "Bunk" McIntyre in 1963. He is survived by: three sisters, Louise Embrick, Lockhaven, Pa.; Shirley Coast, Mercer; and Mildred Swogger, Sharon; one brother, Walter McIntyre, Greenville; three sons, Michael McIntyre, Columbia, S.C.; Raymond McIntyre, Sharon; and David McIntyre, Lehigh Acres; one daughter, Debra (McIntyre) Grazen, Lancaster, N.Y.; and 11 grandchildren. Mr. McIntyre will receive a burial with complete military rites at his final resting place in Florida National Veterans Cemetery, Bushnell. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to a charity of the donor's choice. Brandon James Kyle McKenzie Hogenmiller Greenville boy enjoyed ocean, cartoons, dinosaurs Brandon James Kyle McKenzie Hogenmiller, 14 Ohl St. Greenville, passed away at 11:25 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2002, in his home after an extended illness. He was 5. Brandon was born Nov. 7, 1996, in Greenville to Mark Anthony Sewinsky and Billie J. Hogenmiller. He was baptized at First Baptist Church in Greenville and attended the Head Start Program at Hempfield (Township) Elementary School. Brandon loved going to the ocean and collecting seashells. He also collected Beanie Babies. On television, he enjoyed watching Sponge Bob, Scoobie Doo and monster trucks. Brandon also enjoyed riding his bike, playing outside and dinosaurs. Surviving are: his mother and stepfather, Richard Brest, at home; his father, Sharon; two brothers, Michael Hogenmiller and Aaron Brest, at home; three sisters, Krysta, Celeste and Emily Sewinsky, all Sharon; his grandparents, Donna Hogenmiller, Karen Black and Don and Lucy Stewart, all Greenville; and Frank Sewinsky, Sharon; his aunts, Donna Mareno and Amy Sewinsky, both Greenville; Ilene Kline, Erie; and Bess Moran, in Virginia; and an uncle, Lewis Hogenmiller, Sharon. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Daniel and Stella Marie Vasbinder; his paternal great-grandparents, Henry and Margaret Sewinsky; and Tom Black; and a cousin, Erica Spon. HOGENMILLER Hazel M. Cadman Hermitage woman was Central Christian member Hazel M. Cadman of 299 Wick Ave., Hermitage, died of natural causes at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2002, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after an extended illness. She was 95. She was the wife of Gerald B. Cadman Sr., whom she married on Jan. 14, 1946. Her first husband, Harry Phillips, is deceased. Born in Kittanning, Pa., on Tuesday, April 30, 1907, Mrs. Cadman was a daughter of the late David and Isabella Carrick Wright. She was a graduate of Kittanning High School and a member of Central Christian Church in Hermitage. Mrs. Cadman was an avid reader and enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves. She truly loved spending time with her family. In addition to her second husband, she is survived by a son, Gerald B. Cadman Jr., Charlottesville, Va.; and a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Phillips Martin, Leavittsburg, Ohio. She also leaves seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Besides her first husband, Mrs. Cadman is preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Glass; a son, Harry "Buck" Phillips; and nine sisters and one brother.
CADMAN Warren J. Seymour Warren J. Seymour, Mertz Towers, 52 S. Mercer Ave., Sharpsville, died at 3:13 p.m. Tuesday (7-30-02) in UPMC Horizon, Farrell. He was 80. Obituary information was incomplete.
