Robert J. ëRichí Richards Delphi Packard retiree collected model trains Robert J. "Rich" Richards of 6897 Grove St., Brookfield, died at 6:04 p.m. Thursday (8-22-02) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System following complications from multiple sclerosis. He was 63. Mr. Richards was born Aug. 29, 1938, in Sharon, a son of Brinley and Dorothy Maxwell Richards. Rich worked for Delphi Packard Electric Systems for more than 30 years before retiring in 1995. His memberships included Brookfield United Methodist Church and he was a former member of the Army Reserves. He also served as a former president of Brookfield Band Boosters and was a former member of the Packard bowling, golfing and softball leagues. In his spare time, Rich collected model trains and had enjoyed vintage cars. Survivors include: his wife, the former Patricia A. "Patti" Gray, whom he married Jan. 9, 1960; five children, Tina Costanza, Brookfield; Tim Richards, Girard, Ohio; Ted Richards, also Brookfield; Mrs. Robert (Tammy) Stanovcak, also Girard; and Mrs. William (Teri) Bosheff, McDonald, Ohio; one brother, Dale P. Richards, Verona, Pa.; and four grandchildren, T.J. Costanza; Nicholas and Joseph Richards; and Joshua Bosheff. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Violet Stuard.
RICHARDS Torrey J. Keeley Hickory grad was student, football player at Gannon A funeral service will be held Tuesday for Torrey J. Keeley, 2486 Longview Road, Hermitage. He died at about 8 a.m. Thursday (8-22-02) from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on U.S. Route 62 in French Creek Township, Venango County. He was 19. Mr. Keeley was born Aug. 26, 1982, in Sharon to Kevin Munson and Shyrlie Keeley. He graduated from Hickory High School, Hermitage, in 2000. During his time in high school, Torrey played football and was a wide receiver. He was currently attending Gannon University in Erie, where he was to have started his junior year of college. While there, he played football for Gannon, participating as a wide receiver and wearing the number 84. Torrey was pursuing a degree in criminal justice to become a lawyer. He was employed in the lawn care department of Oak Tree Country Club, Shenango Township. He enjoyed playing football, having played the game since he was 8 years old. Most of all, Torrey enjoyed his family and friends. Surviving are: his mother and stepfather, Gregg J. Hamilla, at home; his father and stepmother, Janice Dolata, Sharon; his grandparents, Robert and Janet Blair, Hermitage; Anna Mae Munson, Farrell; and Robert J. Munson Sr., Hermitage; two sisters, Morgan Hamilla, at home; and April Lynn Munson, Sharon; and one brother, Billy Keeley, at home.
KEELEY Melba F. DiMario Tastee Bakery former owner was member of Notre Dame Melba F. DiMario of 42 Wick Ave. in Hermitage, passed away peacefully at 8:50 p.m. Thursday (8-22-02) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System following an extended illness. She was 77. Mrs. DiMario was born July 19, 1925, in Sharon, a daughter of Odono and Frances Ciccerone Liberstore. Along with her husband, she owned and operated the former Tastee Bakery in downtown Sharon, a bakery that her family ran for 85 years. She was a member of Church of Notre Dame in Hermitage. Her husband, Anthony F. "Ace" DiMario, whom she married on Aug. 30, 1947, in St. Josephís Church in Sharon, survives her at home. She also leaves: two daughters, Mary Frances Dicks; and Margaret A. "Ranny" Heutsche and her husband Attorney Victor Heutsche; and one son, Mark A. DiMario and his wife Colleen, all Sharon; and one sister, Edith Lecce, Aliquippa, Pa. Also surviving are: her eight grandchildren, Aimee Taylor, Jamie Dicks, Anthony DiMario, Nicole DiMario, Mark DiMario, John Heutsche, Victor Heutsche and Matthew Heutsche; and four great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Parry, Tyler Reardon, Shelby Reardon and Marcus Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Eleanor Chieffo; and two infant brothers. Memorial contributions may be made to Church of Notre Dame, 2335 Highland Road, Hermitage 16148.
DiMARIO Coe Andrew Orben Akron man, Sharon native was former Herald reporter COPLEY, Ohio -- Coe Andrew Orben of Akron and Worthington Country Club in Bonita Springs, Fla., formerly of Farrell, died at 8:35 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002, in Hospice Care Center. He was 65. Mr. Orben was born Aug. 13, 1937, in Sharon to Andrew and Matilda Fleischer Orben. He was a graduate of Farrell High School and a 1959 alumnus of Kent (Ohio) State University, where he was a member of the Delta Upsilonfraternity. Mr. Orben was a veteran of the Army and a former reporter for The Herald newspaper in Sharon. He was an avid reader, golf enthusiast and sports fan. Mr. Orben was also a beloved husband, father, brother and friend. He is survived by: his loving wife of 40 years, Mary Ann Karaiskos Orben, at home; three sons, Jeffrey Coe and his wife Kimberly, Crofton, Md.; and Andrew Donald and his wife Erin, Pittsburgh; and Johnathon Thomas, Rochester, N.Y.; his grandchildren, Alexander Coe Orben and Anna Selena Orben; two brothers, Frederick Orben; and Richard Orben and his wife Roberta; three aunts, Mildred Cannone, Jane Orben and Sally Orben; and two brothers-in-law, Donald Karaiskos and his wife Beverly; and John Karaiskos and his wife Barbara. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 S.
