Gary E. McKee
Vietnam vet ran marathons, worked at Wheatland Tube

A funeral service will be held Tuesday for Gary E. McKee, 7307 Stewart-Sharon Road, Hubbard, formerly of Brookfield. He died at about 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002, in St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown, from injuries he suffered in a motorcycle crash. He was 55.

Mr. McKee was born Jan. 28, 1947, in Sharon to James A. McKee and Ruth E. Higgins McKee.

He was employed for 36 years as an electrical foreman at Wheatland Tube Co.

Mr. McKee was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam conflict. He served aboard the U.S.S. Roosevelt (CVA-42).

An avid runner, he participated in many marathons across America, including the Boston, Erie, Pittsburgh and Columbus (Ohio) marathons.

Gary was an avid snow skier and sailor and enjoyed woodworking.

Surviving are: a daughter, Lyndsey J. McKee, New York City; a sister, Mrs. Keith A. (Eileen) McKnight, Transfer; and two brothers, Dr. Thomas J. McKee, Allentown, Pa.; and Richard F. McKee, Sharpsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Kathleen Theresa Murray Boyer, 3752 N. Hermitage Road, Transfer, died at 5:50 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after an extended illness. She was 56.

Mrs. Boyer was born March 2, 1946, in Lynn, Mass., to Charles F. Murray and Theresa M. McGinnis Murray.

She was employed in sales and telemarketing.

Mrs. Boyer was a Protestant and a member of Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department.

Her husband, Charles Raymond Boyer Jr., whom she married on Oct. 12, 1991, survives at home.

Also surviving are: two daughters, Linda, wife of Edward Otis, Woburn, Mass.; and Lori-Beth Tinkham, at home; three sons, William Jeffery Page, Salem, Mass.; Eric D. Johnson, Barrington, N.H.; and George Freeman Tinkham, Silver Springs, Md.; a sister, Ann Nicholas, in Florida; three brothers, Charles Murray, Michael Murray and George Murray, all in Massachusetts; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

C. Vivian Tudor

Retired bank secretary belonged to Baptist church

Funeral and committal services will be held Tuesday for C. Vivian Tudor, 317 Clinton St., Greenville. She died at 3:55 p.m. Friday (9-20-02) in her home of natural causes after a brief illness. She was 81.

Mrs. Tudor was born Dec. 30, 1920, in Greenville to Edward Charles Hubbard Sr. and Marguerite Etzweiler Hubbard.

She was a graduate of the former Penn High School in Greenville.

Mrs. Tudor was secretary for 17 years to the corporate secretary of First National Bank in Greenville, retiring in 1976.

She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Greenville, where she served the church in many capacities.

Mrs. Tudor was a member of Order of Amaranth Court 120, Farrell; and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 63 and Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem Shrine 47, both Greenville.

Her husband, Cyril F. Tudor, whom she married Sept. 26, 1939, died Oct. 6, 1997.

Surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. William (Nancy) Byler, Livingston, Texas; a son, David E. Tudor and his wife, Bronwen, Fernandina, Fla.; two grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Tudor was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Charles Hubbard Jr.
