R. Emerson Heile Transfer man was local phone co. president R. Emerson Heile, White-Cliff Nursing Home, Hempfield Township, formerly of Transfer, died of natural causes at 5:28 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2002, in UPMC Horizon, Greenville. He was 89. Mr. Heile was born March 20, 1913, in Transfer, to Ralph Clayton Heile and Mary Elizabeth Stoyer Heile. He was a Transfer High School graduate of its Class of 1931 and attended Thiel College in Greenville. Mr. Heile was employed for 30 years at Pymatuning Telephone Co., for which he served as president. He was a member of Flushing (Mich.) Presbyterian Church and served as a deacon at Zion Evangelical Church in Transfer. He also belonged to Transfer Kiwanis Club; and Transfer Harvest Home Committee. Mr. Heile was also an avid walker. His first and former wife, the former Augusta Reimold, whom he married Sept. 17, 1935, died in May of 2000. His second wife, the former Alice Mae Tucker, whom he married on Oct. 19, 1985, died on Feb. 27, 2001. Surviving are: one daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Betty) Hovis, Greenville; one son, Jack and his wife Christine Heile, Transfer; two sisters, Dorothy Frampton, White-Cliff Nursing Home; and Ruth Morrison, Connelly Springs, N.C.; one brother, Robert Heile, Holliday, Fla.; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Beside his wives, he was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, LeRoy Heile.
HEILE Richard 'Rick' Andrew Yanko Sharon native was actor in N.Y. and L.A. BURBANK, Calif. -- Richard "Rick" Andrew Yanko, North Hollywood, Calif., passed away at 4 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2002, in Providence St. Joseph Medical Center. He was 59. He was born March 5, 1943, in Sharon, to Andrew and Helen Baran Yanko. Rick worked for many years as an actor in the entertainment industry in New York and Los Angeles. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Bob (Karen) Morgan, New York; and two nephews, Scott and Michael. A funeral Mass was held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002, in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 10828 Moorpark St., North Hollywood, Calif., with the Rev. Bob Gallagher, as celebrant. Interment was held in Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills Cemetery, Los Angeles. Margaret I. Makara Margaret I. Makara, formerly of 2183 Revere Drive, Hermitage, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday (10-8-02) in the home of her sister, Mary J. Blews, Sharpsville. She was 63. Obituary information was incomplete.
