June L. Peters Historical group co-founder had daughter, son here BUTLER -- June L. Peters, Glenford Village, Chicora, formerly of Seybertown Road, Bradys Bend, Pa., died at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2002, in Butler Memorial Hospital. She was 92. Mrs. Peters was born June 8, 1910, in Crisswell, Pa., to Clifford M. and Rachel Kamerer Sipes. With her husband, she worked at Seybertown Gas Co. and was a co-founder of Bradys Bend Historical Society. Mrs. Peters was also an Avon representative in the East Brady/Bradys Bend area for 10 years. She was a member of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in East Brady. She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family. Her husband, Robert H. Peters, whom she married Dec. 17, 1930, died Oct. 28, 1983. Surviving are: three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Burnett, Masury; Mrs. William (Carolyn) Mogle, Natrona Heights, Pa.; and Mrs. Wendelin (Marian) Neff, Chicora; and two sons, Robert H. Peters, Sharpsville; and Allen L. Peters, Rimersburg, Pa. Mrs. Peters is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Diana Peters; four brothers and two sisters. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Bradys Bend Historical Society, Box 451, East Brady 16028.
PETERS Raymond Glenn Daye Stoneboro man worked for GC trucking company Raymond Glenn Daye, 44 Linden St., Stoneboro, died at 4:52 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2002, in UPMC Horizon, Greenville. He was 43. Mr. Daye was born March 18, 1959, in Mercer to James Daye and Annabelle Wells Daye. He was employed by MTI Trucking in Grove City and attended Zion Wesleyan Methodist Church in Worth Township. Mr. Daye was a veteran of the U.S. Army. His former wife, Linda Johnson Daye, whom he married Aug. 5, 1978, survives in Stoneboro. Surviving are: a daughter, Angela Sue Daye; and a son, Raymond Glenn Daye II, both Stoneboro; his mother, Annabelle Daye, Mercer; two sisters, Stella Bell, wife of Stan, Mercer; and Linda Kellner, Hermitage; and four brothers, Rick Wells and his wife Tammy, Hubbard; Rod Daye and his wife Teresa, Mercer; Randy Daye, Sandy Lake; and Ryan Daye and his wife Ruth Ann, Mercer. Raymond was preceded in death by his father.
DAYE Loreda J. Hoffman Masury woman was cook at Farrell Italian Home A funeral service will be held Saturday for Loreda J. Hoffman, 7799 First St., Masury. She died unexpectedly of natural causes at 11:10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2002, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. She was 67. Mrs. Hoffman was born July 12, 1935, in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., to Liskey E. Mabry and Nora Louise Montgomery Mabry. A graduate of Hickory High School in Hermitage, she was a cook for the Italian Home Club in Farrell. Mrs. Hoffman enjoyed spending time with her family. Her former husband, Howard J. Hoffman, died May 19, 1997. William Paschak, her companion of 22 years, survives at home. Also surviving are: a daughter, Brenda Thorpe, Sharon; a son, Ray A. and his wife Jane Hoffman, Transfer; two sisters, Hilda Campbell, Hermitage; and Mrs. Richard (Joyce) Fry, Transfer; a brother, Donald and his wife Jean Mabry, Greenville; five grandchildren, Danielle Hoffman, Jermey Hoffman, Jessup Hoffman, James Hancox, and Jessica Hancox; and six great-grandchildren. Besides her former husband, Mrs. Hoffman was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Cary Mabry; and a son, Howard J. Hoffman. HOFFMAN
