Thomas Edward Blakeley Sharpsville man was Steelers, NASCAR fan Thomas Edward Blakeley, of 44 S. 3rd St., Sharpsville, died at 2:50 a.m. Saturday (11-16-02) in the emergency room at UPMC Horizon, Farrell. He was 39. He was born Aug. 11, 1963 to Shirley (Bailey) Blakeley of Leavittsburg, Ohio, and Gilbert M. Blakeley, who is deceased. He attended Hartford (Ohio) Area Schools. He was working for Premier Hydraulics, Inc., as a machine operator and in maintenance. Mr. Blakeley was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed automotive restoration, watching football and NASCAR racing. He was also a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was an ardent Jeff Burton fan. He is survived by his fiancée, Linda Bowers, Hermitage; his former wife, Pamela Blakeley, Sharon; three daughters, Brenda, Pamela and Jennifer Blakeley, all of Sharon; four sisters, Violet Buterbaugh and her husband Walter, Sharpsville; Margaret Bowers and her husband Wayne, Sharpsville; Joanne Rogan, Leavittsburg, Ohio; Mary Ann Fabian and her husband Roy, Fowler, Ohio; and Shirley A. Blakeley and her husband Fred Bulik of Masury; three brothers, Gilbert M. Blakeley Jr., Leavittsburg, Ohio; Alan M. Bailey, Hermitage; and Daniel M. Rogan and his wife Junifer, West Middlesex; a granddaughter, Sierra Fair, Sharon; several nieces and nephews; his special friend Todd "Boss" and many other special friends. He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
BLAKELEY Lois Marie Cherry Moyer Lois Marie Cherry Moyer, 902 Norris Ave., Farrell, died at 5:56 a.m. Sunday (11-17-02) at the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. She was 64. Obituary information was incomplete.
MOYER Joseph R. Ranelli Sharpsville man was retired machine operator Joseph R. Ranelli, 519 Oak St., Sharpsville, died at 9 p.m. Saturday (11-16-02) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. He was 84. Mr. Ranelli was born March 18, 1918, in Sharpsville, to Gregorio and Philomina Ricci Ranelli. He was employed by Sharon Steel's former Farrell plant as a machine operator until he retired in 1978. He was a member of St. Bartholomew's Church, Sharpsville. He was married Sept. 28, 1940 to Sarah Scibelli, who died Nov. 29, 1998. He is survived by three daughters, Loretta Ciallella and her husband, Joseph Jr., Hermitage; Gloria Ranelli and her companion David Areen, Chicago; JoAnn Pavlick and her husband Edward, Sharpsville; four grandchildren, Samantha, Andrew and Jillian Pavlick and Gregory Ciallella; three sisters, Yolanda DelMonaco, Sharpsville; Lucy Porter and her husband Claire, Sharon; and Mary Barber, Wheatland; and one brother, Rocky Ranelli and his wife Delores, Sharpsville. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dominic Ranelli, and two sisters, Frances Viselli and Anna Costick.
RANELLI Jacob Thomas Kresh Jacob Thomas Kresh, 106 Kresh Lane, Butler, died at 5:47 p.m. Friday (11-15-02) in Butler Memorial Hospital. He was 2. Jacob was born Oct. 31, 2000, in Butler, to Daniel H. and Kimberly K. Koprivnikar Kresh. He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Jared Hoffman, Grove City; and Patrick Kresh, Butler; a sister, Carolyn Hoffman, Butler; four cousins, Tanner Pierce, Jupiter, Fla.; James Rosati and Christina Rosati, both of McDonald, Pa.; and Megan McDowell, Butler; paternal grandparents, Rudolph and Anna Rose Tanczos Kresh, Butler; maternal grandparents John and Evelyn Johnston Koprivnikar, Grove City; a maternal grandmother, Ruth Johnston, Hastings, Mich.; aunts and uncles Barnaby and Karen Pierce, Junipter, Fla.; Jack and Irene Rosati, McDonald, Pa.; Roger and Teresa McDowell, Butler; Thomas Koprivnikar, Grove City; David and Cathy Kresh, Bridgeville, Pa.; and Leonard Kresh, Covington, Ga.; five great-aunts; seven great-uncles and one great-great-aunt. KRESH Clarence R. Gordon Retired dairy farmer had 20 grandchildren Clarence R. Gordon of 745 Greenville Road, Mercer, formerly of New Lebanon, died at 3:50 p.m. Saturday (11-16-02) in Woodland Place, Coolspring Township, after a brief illness. He was 88. He was born March 24, 1914, in Mill Creek Township, Mercer County, to Joseph C. and Hallie M. (Foster) Gordon. He attended the former Yankee Country School of Sandy Lake Township, the former White Country School in Fairview Township and the former Long Country School of Clarks Mills. He retired as a dairy farmer in 1976 and worked with his brothers, Floyd and Foster Gordon, and also had worked throughout Western Pennsylvania. He was a member of the former Carpenter's Corners Church of Clarks Mills. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was always a working man and enjoyed gardening and working with the soil. He married Doris M. Williams on Nov. 22, 1944 and she preceded him in death Sept. 5, 1982. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Harold (Zella) Glover, North East, Pa.; Mrs. Samuel (Betty) Lucas, Conneautville, Pa.; Mrs. Steven (Diana) Higbee, Sandy Lake; Mrs. Ronald (Gail) Angelotti, Cambridge Springs, Pa.; and Mrs. Mark (Joyce) Muller, Sharon; three sons, the Rev. James R. Gordon and wife Reba, Streamwood, Ill.; Joseph C. Gordon and wife Mary Ann, Broadheadsville, Pa.; Thomas F. Gordon and wife Sue, New Wilmington; a stepson, Bob Rigby, Pleasantville, Pa.; a brother, Floyd Gordon, Cochranton; 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; two sisters, Mona Olson and Alleyne Kaltenbaugh; and a brother, Foster Gordon.

COMBINE Mildred M. Richards Hartford grad was charter member of fire auxiliary Mildred M. Richards, 6358 Seneca Road, South Pymatuning Township, died at 7:17 a.m. Sunday (11-17-02) at UPMC Horizon, Greenville, of natural causes. She was born May 5, 1925 in Burghill, Ohio, to Carl and Frieda Scott Parker. Mrs. Richards was a graduate of Hartford High School, Hartford, Ohio, and was the valedictorian of the class of 1943. She worked in the South Pymatuning Elementary School cafeteria for six years as a lunchroom monitor. Previously she worked for Antos Food Market, Transfer, as a clerk. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Hermitage. She was a charter member of the South Pymatuning Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, where she served as president several times. Mrs. Richards was in the St. Paul's choir and was the director of the St. Paul's Children's Choir, a member of the Friendship Circle at St. Paul's. She was an auditor for South Pymatuning Township, and she was a member of the South Pymatuning Homemakers Club. Mrs. Richards enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband in their motor home. She also enjoyed gardening, playing the piano and singing. She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Richards, at home, who she married April 7, 1946; a daughter, Mrs. Robert C. (Patricia) Layman, Sharpsville; a son, Charles E. Richards II and his wife, Tammy, Rural Valley, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Kay Valenly, Sharpsville; and Mrs. Virginia Thoureen, West Palm Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren, Todd Layman, Terry Layman, Jody Aiuppy, Tod Turner and Stephanie Richards; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Kimberly Layman; a son-in-law, Jack Layman; and a nephew, Brad Richards. Donations may be made to the St. Paul's United Church of Christ Memorial Fund or to St. Paul's Special Therapy Unit at St. Paul Homes, West Salem Township.
RICHARDS John E. "Jack" LaCamera Hermitage man was standout football player John E. "Jack" LaCamera, 200 Orange Drive, Apartment 6A, Hermitage, died unexpectedly at 2:25 p.m. Saturday (11-16-02) in the emergency room of the hospital of the Sharon Regional Health System. He was 58. He was born Dec. 24, 1943, in Sharon, to Charles "Red" and Grace Reuff LaCamera. He attended St. Ann's Parochial School and was a 1962 alumnus of Farrell High School. He also attended Youngstown State University, where he participated in ROTC. Mr. LaCamera was last employed by Grove City Bus Lines, which is now Earth Tours, as a bus driver for six years. He previously had been employed by Sharon Steel's former Farrell plant, and the City of Farrell street department. A standout football player during high school, "Fat Jack," as he was affectionately known by his friends, later played semi-professionally with the former Shenango Valley Blasters. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Farrell and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie, Sharon. He was an avid pool player and participated in many tournaments throughout the U.S. and in Canada. He previously had been an avid golfer. He is survived by two daughters, Mary Josephine "Mary Jo" Kieper, Sharon, and Mrs. Gene (Tina) Rimer, Transfer; a son, Brian William LaCamera, Farrell; his mother; a sister, Vivian LaCamera, Hermitage, who he chauffeured on many occasions; 12 grandchildren, Brian, Shawn, Cara, Jena, Briana, Allena, Chastity, Ricki Lee, Richie, McKenzie, Allissa, Jerod; he also raised three boys, Matthew Kahler, Masury; Richard Kahler, Detroit, Mich.; and Russell Kahler, who is deceased. He was preceded in death by his father and a grandson, Aaron Michael LaCamera.
LACAMERA Infant James Raymond Mabus James Raymond Mabus, of 88 Osborn Road, Sandy Creek Township, was stillborn at UPMC Horizon, Greenville, Saturday evening (11-16-02). James was born to Tracie L. (Hetrick) Britton and David Mabus Jr., both of 88 Osborn Road. He is survived by four brothers, Branden Britton, Timothy Britton and Sean Britton, all of Hadley; and Louis Mabus, St. Louis, Mo.; a sister, Amanda Mabus, St. Louis, Mo.; maternal grandparents, Janet Hetrick and Raymond Reinhart, both of Hadley; paternal grandparents, Eileen and Donald Cochran, Cochranton; and David Mabus Sr., Ashtabula, Ohio. James was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Clarence Hetrick.
