Josephine Baughman Springfield Township woman was housekeeper Josephine Baughman, Old Ash Road, Springfield Township, died at 4:20 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, in her residence after a four-month illness. She was 67. Mrs. Baughman was born June 17, 1935, in Grove City to Joseph Bumbaco and Rosemary Pentenato Bumbaco. She was employed from 1976 to 1988 in the Housekeeping Department of Slippery Rock University, and from 1988 to 1998, at The Overlook nursing home, New Wilmington. From 1998 until August of this year, Mrs. Baughman worked in the Housekeeping Department of Amerihost in Springfield Township. She was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed spending time with friends, as well as her grandchildren. Her husband, Richard Baughman Sr., whom she married on June 29, 1956, died on Jan. 21, 1990. Surviving are: one daughter, Mrs. Mitchell (Tammy) Ferry; and one son, Richard L. Baughman Jr. and his wife Sharon, both Springfield Township; four sisters, Julia Surrena, Grove City; Jenny Swartz and Rose Dydek, both Mercer; and Carmella DeWitt, Baltimore, Md.; and two brothers, Joe Bumbaco and John Bumbaco, both Grove City. Mrs. Baughman also leaves four grandchildren, Jodi Hill, Richard Baughman III, Crystal Ferry and Mitchell Ferry II; and two great-grandchildren, Chassidy Burk and Eryn Hill. Besides her husband, Mrs. Baughman was preceded in death by her parents.
James Irvine Hermitage man enjoyed hunting, fishing James Irvine, 70 Hermitage Hills Blvd., Hermitage, formerly of Connecticut, died at 2:10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System following an extended illness. He was 61. Mr. Irvine was born Nov. 17, 1941, in Sharon to Dave Irvine and Helen Kather Irvine. He graduated in 1959 from Sharon High School and later earned his bachelor's degree in education from Slippery Rock University. After receiving his bachelor's degree, Mr. Irvine went on to earn a master's degree in business administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Hartford, Conn. He worked for Omega Flex of Exton, Pa., as vice-president of sales. Mr. Irvine attended East Side Church (Baptist-Disciples of Christ) in Sharon and was a member of Free and Accepted Masons. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are: his mother, Hermitage; a daughter, Jill and her husband Matthew Loiselle, Southbury, Conn.; a son, Gregg and his wife Kristen Irvine, Cromwell, Conn.; a sister, Bonnie and her husband Douglas Noderer, Sharpsville; two brothers, Rick and his wife Jane Irvine, Sumner, Wash.; and Gary and his wife Sue Irvine, Canandaigua, N.Y.; and four grandchildren, Hannah Loiselle, Ryan Loiselle, Jack Irvine and Cameron Irvine. Mr. Irvine was preceded in death by his father. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 19 Jefferson Ave., Sharon 16146.
IRVINE Rosella 'Babe' Rotunno Masury homemaker loved family, cards and crochet A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday for Rosella "Babe" Rotunno, 882 N. Stateline Road, Masury. She died at 9:50 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, in Brookfield following an extended illness. She was 85. Mrs. Rotunno was born Aug. 9, 1917, in Brookfield to James Morgan and Sara Sheridan Morgan. She was a member of Church of the Sacred Heart in Sharon. She loved to play cards and crochet. A homemaker, her main love was her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her other family members. Her husband, Michael M. "Pep" Rotunno, whom she married on April 16, 1935, survives at home. Also surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mary Ann) Paul, San Diego, Calif.; and Mrs. Donald (Nancy) Shields, Masury; two sons, Ronald J. and his wife Judith Rotunno; and L. Charles and his wife Carol Rotunno, all Masury; nine grandchildren, Connie Sciarro, Michael Rotunno, L. Charles Rotunno Jr., James Rotunno, Cindy Scharba, David Paul, Kristina Paul, Tara Bremick and Alexandra Shields; and nine great-grandchildren, Jason Rotunno, Michael Rotunno, Ciara Rotunno, Sheridan Rotunno, Shannon Rotunno, Krista Rotunno, Maggie Rotunno, Jessica Scharba and Amanda Scharba. Mrs. Rotunno was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Bernadette Morgan, Mabel Mack and Kathleen Boyd; and six brothers, John, Joseph, Raymond, James, Ralph and Leo Morgan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of Church of the Sacred Heart, 40 S. Irvine Ave., Sharon 16146.
ROTUNNO Marian R. Molinari Sharpsville homemaker enjoyed baking, gardening Marian R. Molinari, 913 Pierce Ave., Sharpsville, passed away at 10:40 a.m. Saturday (11-30-02) in her residence. She was 72. Born Dec. 31, 1929, in her home in Sharpsville in which she passed away, Mrs. Molinari was a daughter of Rocco Baggiossi Sr. and Rose Dambrosio Baggiossi. She was a lifelong Sharpsville resident and a 1947 alumna of Sharpsville High School. A homemaker, she was a member of Church of the Sacred Heart in Sharon. She also belonged to the St. Olivia Society at St. Bartholomew's Church in Sharpsville. Mr. Molinari enjoyed baking, needlepoint and tending to her flower garden. She was also very fond or her daughter's and son-in-law's cat, Whiskers. She was very devoted to her family. Her husband, Sante Molinari, whom she married on April 18, 1953, in Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon, survives at home. She also leaves: one daughter, Mrs. Victor J. (Pamela L.) Sniezek, Hermitage; one sister, Connie DeJulia, Sharpsville; one brother, Americus Baggiossi, Hermitage; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Anthony Baggiossi. Memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Regional Health System's Hospice Home Care, 490 N. Kerrwood Drive, Suite 204, Hermitage 16148; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
