Bonnie Gerasimek Bonnie Gerasimek, 7279 Sharon-Stewart Road SE, Brookfield, died Sunday (12-15-02) in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was 66. Obituary information was incomplete.
GERASIMEK Clarence Jacobs Parker Reznor retiree belonged_to Church of God Clarence Jacobs Parker, Mercer-Grove City Road, Findley Township, died at 5:20 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, in United Community Hospital, Pine Township, following an extended illness. He was 76. Mr. Parker was born July 5, 1926, in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, to Royal Augustus Parker and Kathryn Elizabeth Parker. He retired from Reznor -- a unit of Thomas & Betts Corp. in Mercer, where he was a machinist. Mr. Parker was a member of The Church of God (Springfield Church), Grove City. His wife, the former Genievieve Louise Bobbert, whom he married on Dec. 9, 1953, survives at the residence. Also surviving are: a granddaughter, Darla, and her husband Terrence Schaffer, Stoneboro; a grandson, Daniel A. Nelson, Japan; two great-grandsons, Tristan and Trenton Schaffer, Stoneboro; one sister, Audrey Hoover, Hubbard; and two brothers, William Parker, Grove City; and Royal "Gus" Parker, San Diego, Calif. Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, one sister and three brothers.
PARKER Anna Sucic Homemaker loved to attend Croatian functions A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday for Anna Sucic, Frampton Road, formerly of Victoria Drive, both Hermitage, and Greenville. She passed away at 3:10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, in her home. She was 91 years old. Mrs. Sucic was born Aug. 12, 1911, in Aliquippa, Pa., to Joseph and Mary Stepanic. She was married Sept. 4, 1926, to Vincent (Vinko) Sucic and settled in Greenville. She was a homemaker and worked as a housekeeper for many years. Mrs. Sucic was a member of Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 508 of Greenville for 76 years and held various office positions, among them treasurer. She was currently nest manager for 50 years, holding this position until her death. She was involved in many activities of the lodge through the years and held Christmas parties for her nest members. She served as a delegate to the C.F.U. National conventions five times. Mrs. Sucic was a member of St. Michael's Church in Greenville and Church of Notre Dame in Hermitage. Her husband passed away on June 14, 1974. She is survived by and will be sadly missed by: two sons, James V. Sucic, Salem, Ohio; and Joseph F. Sucic, Hermitage; one daughter, Jean A. Sucic, Hermitage; two grandchildren, Joseph F. Sucic Jr. and his wife Holly, Davison, Mich.; and Kimberly A. Burdick and her husband, Robert, Sharpsville; two brothers, Joseph Stepanic, Salem; and Mickey Stepanic, Kensington, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Michael Madjarac, Columbiana, Ohio; two nephews, Richard and wife Mary Madjarac; William and wife Dianne Madjarac; and three nieces, Mariann and husband Edward Strohecker; Rosemary and husband Timothy Roe; Susan and husband Daniel Best; a stepniece, Judy and husband Louis Smith; and godchild, Frances Sarich, Lowellville, Ohio. Besides her husband, Mrs. Sucic was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Steve and George Stepanic; one sister, Kathryn Madjarac; and one grandchild, Barbara C. Sucic. During her life, Mrs. Sucic loved her home and family and was a good friend and neighbor to all. She liked to play bingo, loved to cook and bake, and loved to go to various Croatian functions, especially where there was Croatian music. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the CFU Scholarship Fund, Croatian Fraternal Union, 100 Delaney Drive, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15235; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
