R. Mark Myers Conneaut Lake man owned Lumber company R. Mark Myers, 7213 Main St., Conneaut Lake, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2002, in his residence. He was 75. Mr. Myers was born Nov. 12, 1927, in West Liberty, Ohio, to Robert E. Myers and Maude Mae King Myers. Mr. Myers was raised in Surrey, N.D., where he lived until his family moved to Conneaut Lake in 1940. He was last employed as owner and operator of Northwest Specialty Lumber Co., Geneva, Pa., which he started in 1964. He previously worked in sales for Moss Brothers Lumber Co. of Conneaut Lake and for McGowan of Slippery Rock. A U.S. Army veteran, he served during the Korean conflict. As a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Conneaut Lake, Mr. Myers served on the church Mission Board and sang in the church choir, having enjoyed singing with the Living Christmas Tree. He was active in various mission projects, helping to build an office for Chinese Overseas Christian Missions; and leading teams of workers for short-term mission projects with Christian Service International in Haiti. He was previously involved with Geneva (Pa.) Faith Methodist Church. He belonged to Korean War Veterans organization; and was a charter member of Greenwood Fire Department in Geneva, Pa. He was also a former member of Conneaut Lake School Board. Mr. Myers and his wife enjoyed traveling in later years, taking several trips overseas. He was community-oriented and involved with numerous projects and organizations. He actively spent time with his grandchildren. His wife, the former I. Josephine Adsit, whom he married on May 13, 1949, died on Dec. 13 of this year. Surviving are: a son, Cris Myers and his wife Jane, Conneaut Lake; a daughter, Muriel J. Dority and her husband Michael, Vicksburg, Mich.; and five grandchildren, Adam, Ben and Katie Myers; and Paul and Evelyn Dority. Besides his wife, Mr. Myers was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, William and Tillman Myers. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 240 N. MYERS William Charles Mild Sharon Steel retiree was active member of church William Charles Mild, formerly of 1501 S. Neshannock Road, Hermitage, died at 2 a.m. Sunday (12-22-02) in Hospitality Care Center of Hermitage. He was 82. Mr. Mild was born July 11, 1920, in Sharon to John Mild and Sara Snyder Mild. He retired from the former Sharon Steel Corp.'s Farrell plant after 34 years of service in the Stainless Department. An Army veteran, Mr. Mild served during World War II in 609 Tank Destroyers. As an active member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church in Lackawannock Township, he was a former sexton, trustee, elder, and Sunday school teacher and superintendent. He was also active on the county level with the Sunday School Association. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and playing Hawaiian electric guitar. His wife, the former Alice Belle McFarland, whom he married on Dec. 5, 1942, died on Sept. 8, 1998. Surviving are: a daughter, Susan, and her husband Ernest Tomko, Hermitage; four sons, Robert and his wife Carolyn Mild, Hermitage; James R. and his wife Susan Mild, Columbus, Ohio; and John D. and his wife Roxanna; and Jeffrey L. and his wife Lisa, all West Middlesex; three brothers, John R. Mild and his wife Dorothy; Richard L. Mild; and Bruce C. Mild and his wife Virginia, all Hermitage; and a sister, Sally and her husband William Finnen, Irvine, Calif. Mr. Mild also leaves 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant brother, James. MILD Anne C. Miklos Farrell woman worked at Sharon Steel during war Anne C. Miklos, 228 Patt Drive, Farrell, died at 5:10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, in Clepper Manor, Sharon, She was 84. Mrs. Miklos was born Nov. 22, 1918, in Sharon, to Michael Kusnir Sr. and Mary Yevchak Kusnir. She attended and graduated from the former St. Ann's School in Farrell. Mrs. Miklos worked at the former Sharon Steel Corp.'s Farrell plant during World War II. She later was employed as a clerk by the former Silverman's Shoe Store in Sharon and the cafeteria at the former St. Ann's School. As a member of St. Ann's Church in Farrell, she was a charter member of the Altar Society and belonged to the Parent Teacher Organization of St. Ann's School. She enjoyed playing cards and belonged to the Neighborhood Card Club. Her husband, Michael Miklos Jr., whom she married on March 2, 1944, died on Nov. 6, 1996. Surviving are: a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Forrest Clayton, Sharpsville; three grandsons, Corey Clayton, Lancaster, Pa.; and Damon and Jared Clayton, both Sharpsville; a sister, Helen Kusnir; and a brother, Michael Kusnir Jr., both Farrell. Besides her husband, Mrs. Miklos was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John Kusnir; and two sisters, Mary Maykowski and Margaret Kusnir.
MIKLOS Lila L. Hall-Hoskins Masury homemaker was Sunday school teacher Lila L. Hall-Hoskins of 563 Brookfield Ave., Masury, died at 1:48 a.m. Sunday (12-22-02) in O'Brien Memorial Nursing Home, Brookfield. She was 89. Mrs. Hall-Hoskins was born Sept. 25, 1913, in Masury, a daughter of George E. and Ora Johnston Foreman. She was a 1930 graduate of Brookfield High School. She was a homemaker and a former Sunday school teacher. Her memberships included Masury United Methodist Church and was a past matron of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 519 in Hartford from 1953 to 1954. She also belonged to many Bridge clubs in the area. Her first husband, Clyde Hall, whom she married in 1936, died in 1974. Her second husband, Paul Hoskins, whom she married in 1984, died in 1990. Survivors include: one brother, James P. Foreman, Poland, Ohio; and numerous cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Beside her husbands, Mrs. Hall-Hoskins was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial contributions may be made to Masury United Methodist Church, 1382 Broadway Ave. SE, Masury, Ohio 44438.

Raymond M. Roberts Raymond M. Roberts, 116 Quinter Road, Salem Township, died at 3:45 p.m. Sunday (12-22-02) in UPMC Horizon, Greenville. He was 84. Obituary information was incomplete.
