Lynda M. Kelly Sharon grad was devoted mother and aunt Lynda M. Kelly, 689 S. Stateline Road, Sharon, died of natural causes at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, in her residence after an extended illness. She was 40. Mrs. Kelly was born April 22, 1962, in Sharon to Glenn H. Edwards and Yvonne J. King Edwards. She was a 1980 alumna of Sharon High School and a homemaker. Mrs. Kelly was a Catholic by faith. She enjoyed bowling, loved children and was an avid sports fan, especially those based in Cleveland. Her husband, Dale J. Kelly, whom she married on Feb. 3, 1986, survives at home. Also surviving are: three sons, Christopher Kelly, Ian Kelly and Michael Kelly, all at home; two sisters, Deidre A. Bottenfield, Sharon; and Mrs. Brian (Glennon) McBride, Hermitage; and a brother, Adam Edwards and his wife Marcy, Clark. Mrs. Kelly was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Regional Health System's Hospice Home Care, 490 N. KELLY Robert Crawford Robert Crawford, 5560 N. Hermitage Road, Transfer, died at 3:30 a.m. Saturday (1-11-03) in Willow Park Nursing Home, Cleveland. He was 96. Obituary information was incomplete.
CRAWFORD Stephen Boor Sharon Steel retiree was Brookfield trustee, clerk A funeral service will be held Tuesday for Stephen Boor of Whispering Oaks, 260 S. Buhl Farm Drive, Hermitage, formerly of Broadway Avenue in Masury. He died of natural causes at 8 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after an extended illness. He was 92. He was the husband of Suzanne Petro Boor, whom he married on Sept. 1, 1935. Born on Friday, July 1, 1910, in Windber, Pa., Mr. Boor was a son of the late Stephen and Elizabeth Kubica Boor. He was employed as a shipping clerk at the former Sharon Steel Corp.'s Farrell plant, where he retired in 1974 after 42 years of service. He also had served as Brookfield Township clerk and trustee for 30 years. Mr. Boor was a member of Masury United Methodist Church; Whispering Oaks Residents Association; and P.E.R.S. (Ohio Public Employees Retirement System) of Columbus. For 56 years, he also belonged to Free and Accepted Masons Jerusalem Lodge 19 in Hartford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: a daughter, Mrs. David (Ruth) Jones, Sharpsville; three sons, David A. Boor, Cambridge, Mass.; Dr. Keith Boor, husband of Terri, Springfield, Ohio; and Retired Lt. Col. Wayne Boor, husband of Maggie, Fayetteville, N.C.; a brother, Sam Boor, husband of Sue, Masury; and two sisters, Anna Klein, East Hanover, N.J.; and Elizabeth Schneiberger, Coatesville, Pa. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Boor was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Paul and Martin Boor. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Masury United Methodist Church, 1382 Broadway Ave. SE, Masury, Ohio 44438.
BOOR Lucille A. Fox Sharon native worked at Tropicana in Las Vegas Lucille A. Fox, 291 Liberty St., Sharon, passed away at 12:32 a.m. Saturday (1-11-03) in UPMC Horizon, Farrell. She was 70. Mrs. Fox was born Dec. 20, 1932, in Sharon to Sam Schiaville and Anna Esposito Schiaville. She was a 1950 alumna of Farrell High School. Following the death of her parents in 1981, she moved to Las Vegas, where she was employed as a food and beverage cashier for the Tropicana hotel for nearly 15 years. She returned to Sharon in February of 2002. She was a former member of Our Lady of Fatima church in Farrell. She enjoyed cooking. Surviving are: a daughter, Michele L. Teutsch, with whom she made her home; a son, Michael William Teutsch, Las Vegas; two brothers, Sam Scharville and his wife Norma, Hermitage; and Kenneth E. Schiaville and his wife Violet, Hermitage; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael William Teutsch; and her second husband, Robert Howard Fox. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
FOX Jack W. Lary Grove City native retired from Westinghouse ARLINGTON, Texas -- Jack W. Lary, 274 Friendship Circle, No. 211, Beaver 15009, passed away at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003, in IHS care center in Arlington. He was 88. Mr. Lary was born Feb. 13, 1914, in Grove City, a son of Oran W. Lary and Florence Fike Lary. He retired from the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp. Mr. Lary was a Free and Accepted Mason and a member of Tate Springs Baptist Church in Arlington. His wife, Emma Mae Lary, is deceased. Surviving are: a brother, James W. Lary; and two nephews, James W. Lary Jr. and Jerry Lary, all Beaver; and his stepchildren, Roberta Black, Rio Vista, Texas; Florence Bowman, Lancaster, Texas; Esther Ciavarella, Mineral Ridge, Ohio; Bill Forrester, Mercer; David Forrester, Fort Worth, Texas; and George Forrester, Berea, Ky. He also leaves numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday (1-11-03) in Tate Springs Baptist Church, 4201 Little Road, Arlington.
Among those preceding him in death were five sisters, Lizzie, Bella, Annie, Isbel and Helen. Additional information was given to the funeral home.
