Type some part of the name, address or date you are looking for.

(Tip: start with as little info as possible, such as ``Smith'' rather than ``John Q. Smith'' and ``Roemer'' rather than ``Roemer Boulevard''. It might be listed here without a middle initial, abbreviated or spelled differently. )

A few test samples already area posted. If you desperately need a particular obit, e-mail the person's name and date of death to herald@pgh.net. As time permits, we will e-mail the text to you or post that day's obituaries.

If you happen to see a stray ``cq'' in the text, it is a copyeditor's notation that a spelling or fact looks odd but is correct.
