Madeline C. Counts

Shenango Township woman was Good Shepherd member

Madeline C. Counts, 3 Wansack Road, Shenango Township, died Thursday (8-14-97) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. She was 83.

Mrs. Counts was born Sept. 13, 1913, in Coshocton, Ohio, to Joseph and Daisy Jackson.

She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, West Middlesex.

Her husband, Luther A. Counts Sr., whom she married in 1931, died Oct. 1, 1996.

Surviving are: two daughters, Shirley Williams, Oberlin, Ohio; and Marilyn Taylor, Northport, Ala.; two sons, Luther A. Counts Jr., Austintown, Ohio; and Clyde G. Counts, Germantown, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters.

Service: Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Monday (8-18-97) in Church of the Good Shepherd, West Middlesex, with Msgr. Richard Mayer, pastor, as celebrant. Arrangements by WILBERT L. SHANNON FUNERAL HOME Ltd., 33 Broadway Ave., Wheatland.

Burial: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.


Theresia Cassady Jones

Worked in General Electric's Pine Township plant

MEADVILLE _ Theresia Cassady Jones, 16364 Shady Acres, Meadville, died Friday (8-15-97) in Meadville Medical Center. She was 47.

Mrs. Jones was born June 23, 1950, in Beauty, Ky., to Earl and Dorothy Moore Cassady.

She had worked at General Electric's Pine Township plant since 1990.

She was a Baptist.

Surviving, besides her husband, William Jones, whom she married May 5, 1990, are: a son, Dwayne A. Resch, Meadville; a sister, Emma Preece, Ocala, Fla; and three brothers, Ned R. Cassady, Connecticut; Bobby G. Cassady, Seattle; and Michael Cassady, Ft. Hood, Texas.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Crawford County Mental Health Awareness, Liberty Street, Meadville, 16335.

Theresia Cassady, 47, of 16364 Shady Acres, Meadville.

Elizabeth E. Lowry

Elizabeth E. Lowry, Hubbard, died at 9:30 a.m. Friday (8-15-97) at home. She was 47.

James T. Williams

Sharon man was member of St. Joseph's Church

James T. Williams, Clepper Convalescent Home, Sharon, formerly of Sharpsville and Polk Center, Venango County, died at 2 p.m. Friday (8-15-97) following an extended illness. He was 37.

Mr. Williams was born Jan. 6, 1960, in Sharon to Robert and Helen Adams Williams.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Sharon.

Surviving are: three sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Mary) DeCapua, Sharon; Mrs. Daniel (Elizabeth) King, Woodinville, Wash.; and Mrs. David (Alice) Jordan, Mercer; six brothers, Edward Williams, Sharon; King Williams, Franklin; John Williams, Sharon; George Williams, Belleville, Pa.; Martin Williams, Beaver; and Michael Williams, San Diego.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mercer County Association for the Retarded, Route 18, Hermitage.


WILLIAMS
