Elizabeth Dennison Andrews

Pitt graduate was member of many clubs

Elizabeth Dennison Andrews, 447 Wise Road, Jamestown, formerly of Mount Jackson, Pa., died Saturday (9-13-97) at home. She was 92.

Mrs. Andrews was born Nov. 5, 1904, in Jamestown to John and Alice Dennison.

She graduated from Westminster College, New Wilmington, and earned a master's degree in library science from the University of Pittsburgh.

Mrs. Andrews taught high school in Mount Jackson for three years and was librarian for seven years in Reynolds High School.

She was a longtime member of Jamestown Presbyterian Church, where she served as Sunday school superintendent and elder.

She belonged to the Study Class, Garden Club, Historical Society and Bridge Club, all of Jamestown; the New Castle Bridge Club; and the College Club and Historial Society, both Mercer County.

Her maternal grandfather, Silas Hunter, was a colonel in the Civil War.

In 1929, she married her husband, Dale Andrews, a builder and owner of M. Dale Andrews Lumber Co., Mount Jackson and Jamestown. He died in 1962.

Surviving are: a son, David Andrews, Cedartown, Ga.; two daughters, Mrs. Francis (Mary Alice) Delia, Topsail Beach, N.C.; and Mrs. Eugene (Jean) Eisman, Milwaukee, Wisc.; a sister, Rachel Morton, San Diego; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Dennison; and a sister, Sarah Dennison.

Mrs. Dale (Elizabeth Dennison), 92, 447 Wise Road, Jamestown, formerly of Mount Jackson, Pa.

Service: Funeral at 11 a.m. Thursday (9-18-97) in Jamestown Presbyterian Church.

Ivernia E. Ball

Dietician lived in Greenville, was member of Crossroads

Ivernia E. Ball, 31 E. Stewart Ave., formerly of 6 Alhambra Place, Greenville, died at 6:35 a.m. Sunday (9-14-97) in Horizon Hospital System, Greenville. She was 87.

Mrs. Ball was born Feb. 21, 1910, in West Salem Township to Ralph D. and Florence Templeton Fry.

She was a dietitian for the County Home, Fairview, Pa.

Mrs. Ball was a member of Crossroads Christian Fellowship, West Salem Township.

Her first husband, Howard C. Riley, is deceased. Her second husband, Laurence E. Ball, whom she married in 1965, died Dec. 31, 1978.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Lola C. Hinkson, with whom she lived.

Beside her husbands, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray W. and Harvey D. Fry; and a sister, Mildred Greenfield.

Mrs. Laurence E. (Ivernia E. Riley), 87, of 31 E. Stewart Ave., formerly of 6 Alhambra Place, Greenville.

Hazel Marie Buchanan

Former Grove City resident was retired Bashline nurse

MEADVILLE _ Hazel Marie Buchanan, 853 Allamanda Circle, Venice, Fla., formerly of Grove City and Erie, died at 12:10 p.m. Thursday (9-4-97) in Wesbury United Methodist Community after an extended illness. She was 88.

Mrs. Buchanan was born June 16, 1909, in Butler to Clifford and Phoebe Robb Criner.

She retired in 1972 as a licensed practical nurse from the former Bashline Memorial Hospital, Grove City. Previously she was employed by Erie Osteopathic Hospital.

Mrs. Buchanan was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Grove City, and belonged to its Sunday school class.

Her husband, Harold Leroy Buchanan, whom she married Nov. 18, 1926, died in 1991.

Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. Harry E. (Jean Ann) McNutt, Fayetteville, N.C.; and Marybelle Hawke, wife of the Rev. Richard E. Hawke, Slippery Rock; a son, James L., Sarasota, Fla.; a sister, Betty Parker, Grove City; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Opperman and Grace Criner; and three brothers, Ken, Clarence and Charles Criner.

Mrs. Harold Leroy (Hazel Marie), 88, of 853 Allamanda Circle, Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Grove City and Erie.

Kathryn L. McKinney Campbell

New Wilmington homemaker attended Epsicopal church

Kathryn L. McKinney Campbell, 341 Waugh Ave., New Wilmington, died at 3:15 p.m. Saturday (9-13-97) in Horizon Hospital System, Shenango Valley, Farrell. She was 96.

Mrs. Campbell was born July 15, 1901, in Winnetka, Ill., to William and Agnes Babcock McKinney.

Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker.

She attended St. John's Episcopal Church, Sharon.

Her husband, W. Fillmore Campbell, whom she married April 10, 1924, died Aug. 24, 1981.

Surviving are: a son, William F. Jr., New Wilmington; a daughter, Lorraine Campbell Shelly, Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Julia K. Sniezek Ginocchi

Ex-school cafeteria worker in New Castle lived in GC

Julia K. Sniezek Ginocchi, 19 Orchard Drive, Grove City, formerly of North Ashland Avenue, New Castle, died at 6:23 a.m. Saturday (9-13-97) in her daughter's home, 76 Macrae Drive, Grove City. She was 80.

Mrs. Ginocchi was born Feb. 23, 1917, in New Castle to Andrew and Victoria Kacmarczyk Sniezek.

She attended the former Madonna School; and Lawrence School, both New Castle; and New Castle High School.

Mrs. Ginocchi retired as a cafeteria worker from New Castle school district.

A Catholic, she was a member of Mary Mother of Hope, Madonna worship site, New Castle.

She formerly belonged to Casimir Pulaski Auxiliary, New Castle.

Her husband, Anthony Ginocchi, to whom she was married 58 years, is deceased.

Surviving are: two sons, Thomas, New Castle; and Leonard, Laurel, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. William J. (Vicky) Book, Grove City; two brothers, Stanley Sniezek, Interlacken, Fla.; and Victor Sniezek, New Castle; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Sniezek; and a sister, Bertha Zidow.

Mrs. Anthony (Julia K. Sniezek), 80, of 19 Orchard Drive, Grove City, formerly of North Ashland Avenue, New Castle.

Calling hours: 6 to 9 p.m. Monday (9-15-97) in NOGA FUNERAL HOME Inc., 1142 S. Mill St., New Castle.

Service: Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Tuesday (9-16-97) in Mary Mother of Hope Church, Madonna worship site, New Castle, with the Rev. Victor Molka, pastor, as celebrant. Procession to leave funeral home at 10:30 a.m.

Burial: Madonna Cemetery, New Castle.


John Klutcher

Sharon Steel retiree was church roll's oldest man

John Klutcher, Sharon, formerly of Farrell, died at 1:10 p.m. Sunday (9-14-97) in Clepper Convalescent Home, Sharon. He was 95.

Mr. Klutcher was born June 30, 1902, in Bardejov, Czechoslovakia, to Peter and Susanna Buchko Klutcher.

He retired in 1968 from the former Sharon Steel Corp.'s Farrell plant.

Mr. Klutcher was the oldest male member of St. John's Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church, Sharon.

His first wife, the former Mary Buchko, died in 1972. His second wife, the former Anna Kraynak, died in 1985.

Surviving are: four daughters, Mrs. Edward (Mary) Kraynok, Sharpsville; Mrs. Harry (Anne) Zermeire, Hermitage; Mrs. George (Helen K.) Kee, LaMarque, Texas; and Mrs. Edward (Pauline) Koval, Farrell; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Beside two wives, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Michael.


KLUTCHER

John, 95, Sharon, formerly of Farrell.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. _ Michael J. Marincich, 1701 South West 10th Court, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Emerson Avenue, Farrell, died this morning at home after an extended illness. He was 57.
