University honors longtime employees

Slippery Rock University during a recent campus breakfast honored staff members for their years of service. They are:

  • 30 years — Sherry Mellott, finance and administrative affairs executive staff assistant; and Carl Miller, computing services administrative systems coordinator; both of Grove City. University president, Dr. G. Warren Smith, gave the awards.
  • 25 years — John McGallis, Grove City, computer services systems analyst.
  • 20 years — Sandra Grosky, Slippery Rock, human resources assistant director.
  • 15 years — Cathy George, Slippery Rock, Student Government Association business manager; George McDowell, University Advancement assistant director, both of Slippery Rock; and William Rudloff, Mercer, environmental health and safety director.
  • 10 years — Dwight Greer, Butler, Office of Social Equity director; Ed Hess, Bethel Park, Pa., controller; Mary Ann King, Jackson Center, assistant to the College of Health and Human Services’ dean; and Cynthia Martin, Farrell, accountant.
