County pictorial history set to print
The Mercer County Pictorial History is now at the printer’s and is expected to be available Dec. 1 in time for Christmas holiday giving.
Pre-publication sale of the updated history book has been extended to Oct. 15.
The 600-plus page book contains 650 maps and photos, 10 chapters and two appendixes.
Pre-publication price is one-third off the $75 cover price, or $50, plus $3 state sales tax for Pennsylvania residents. If applicable, a $7.50 shipping and handling fee will also be charged.
Books can be picked up at the Mercer County Bicentennial Office and Mercer County Historical Society, both in Mercer, Shenango Valley Community Library, Grove City Community Library, Greenville Area Library, Mercer Area Library, Stey-Nevant Library in Farrell and the Mercer County Conventions and Visitors Bureau.
