Masked men rob 2 at gunpoint in home
Two men were robbed at gunpoint early this morning in the 200 block of Mesabi Street.Police said it was a "home invasion robbery" with an automatic firearm. Two men entered the home around 4:45 a.m., brandished the firearm and placed it in the back of the resident. A second man who was visiting the house was robbed of $50.
The robbers then took the men outside, with the gun to their heads, and told them to run. The robbers then ran away.
The victims told police the two men were wearing masks. Police held a 21-year-old Sharon man for investigative detention this morning.
