Motorcyclist in better condition

The condition of a Hermitage man injured Monday afternoon in a traffic accident has been upgraded to satisfactory, a spokesperson from the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System said.

Thomas C. Gabig, 52, of 7206 Lamor Road, was stable Monday in the intensive care unit of the hospital after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car on West Connelly Boulevard in Sharon. Police said Gabig’s left leg and ribs were broken, and he suffered head injuries in the crash.

Andrew Wagner, 85, of 15 W. Connelly Blvd., turned left from Riverview Manor onto Connelly in front of Gabig’s motorcycle and hit it, police said. They said Gabig was thrown from his bike.
