Larue Pugh, 63, died in UPMC Pittsburgh Monday as a result on injuries she sustained in an accident at 5:25 p.m. March 1 on 80 in Shenango Township, state police said.

Pugh tried to pass a tractor-trailer truck driven by Terry Newman, 50, of Hughesville, Pa., when he hit the truck, went into the median and flipped over several times, police said. Pugh was thrown from the vehicle. Newman was not hurt in the accident.
