Crash victims remain hospitalized

Three people injured in a two-car accident Tuesday night in Shenango Township remained hospitalized but their conditions are improving.

Shawn R. Timblin, 23, of 320 A. W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington, was released Thursday.

Two people in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, Marsha L Schubert, 23, also of 320 A W. Neshannock, was in good condition this morning, upgraded from fair condition Thursday; and Matthew C. Patrick, 17, of 655 Twitmeyer Ave., Hermitage was upgraded to serious condition this morning from critical condition Thursday.

The accident occurred at 11:25 p.m. on Bethel-New Wilmington Road. Patrick and Timblin were driving and Ms. Schubert was a passenger in Timblin's car, police said. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
