HOLIDAY CLOSINGS
Here are some of the businesses and services affected by New Year's:
The Herald will publish a morning edition Tuesday. Obituary information for the Jan. 1 edition will be accepted until 5 p.m. Monday.
Federal, state and local government offices will be closed Tuesday, except for emergency services such as police, fire and 911. The Wheatland borough office will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
There will be no mail delivery Tuesday.
Most banks and financial institutions will be closed Tuesday, depending on their normal operating hours. Some may close early Monday.
Greenville Recreation Center will close at 4:30 p.m. Monday and will remain closed Tuesday
Shenango Valley Community Library, Sharon, will be closed today for the installation of new carpeting. The library also will close at 5 p.m. Monday and will remain closed Tuesday.
Kinsman Free Public Library will close at 5 p.m. Monday and remain closed Tuesday. Patrons are asked not to put audio or video items in book returns.
The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library and its branches, including Brookfield, will be closed Sunday through Tuesday.
