Driver killed in I-80 crashA man was killed Tuesday when his pickup truck slammed into a bridge on Interstate 80 in Venango County, state police said.
Scott Allen Campbell, 34, of Patton, Pa., was dead after the crash at 4:18 p.m. in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, police said.
Campbell's pickup, owned by Butler Telecom of Irving, Texas, was eastbound on I-80 when he drove off the road and slid broadside. The pickup slid in the median and struck a concrete bridge abutment broadside, police said.
Campbell was wearing his seat belt, police said.
