All charges against an 18-year-old Farrell man accused of carrying an unlicensed gun were waived to court Thursday by District Justice Henry J. Russo, Hermitage.

Robert Spruill Jr., 18, of 1113 Hamilton Ave., Farrell, was arrested July 10 on charges of possession of a firearm without a license, receiving stolen property and conspiracy, police said.

Southwest Mercer County Regional police spotted Spruill and two others July 10 in a stolen vehicle in the 1000 block alley of Wallis and Fruit avenues, in Farrell and police found an unloaded .25-caliber pistol in Spruill's back pocket, according to police. Spruill was taken to Mercer County Jail after failing to post $15,000 bond.
