Accused shooter facing more charges
The Farrell man accused of shooting Daniel Dragicevic will face charges in an unrelated case in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
Chinello A. "C-Lo" Blaski, 22, of 525 Spearman Ave., was charged with receiving stolen property, being a convict in possession of a firearm and possession of crack cocaine.
District Justice Henry J. Russo, Hermitage, held the charges for court at a preliminary hearing Dec. 20.
Pennsylvania Probation and Parole agents searched Blaski's home Oct. 25 and found a .380-caliber automatic in the living room ceiling and 14.7 grams -- about half an ounce -- of crack cocaine in a hallway ceiling, police said.
The gun was stolen Oct. 16 in Erie, police said.
Blaski was to face a preliminary hearing today in Dragicevic's shooting, but the hearing has been postponed to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 10 before Russo.
Blaski was charged with aggravated and simple assault, burglary, reckless endangerment, attempted robbery and a firearms violation for storming into Dragicevic's home on Sept. 25 and firing a shot from a .25-caliber handgun into Dragicevic's left thigh, police said.
