The buses are in and the guidelines are in place, but Mercer County Community Transit still hasn't started a long-promised program for disabled riders. A couple of different starting dates have come and gone. "I've got everything in place," said transit Manager Bill Jones. The hold-up has been paperwork. The last thing to do was create a manual of office procedures, but his computer kept crashing. The manual now is complete. |
