Charges have been held for court in the case of a Farrell man charged with assaulting a woman in the 900 block of Fruit Avenue, Farrell.

Demaun A. Green, 26, of 520 Wallis Ave., was charged by Southwest Mercer County Regional police with aggravated and simple assault, unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct.

District Justice Henry J. Russo, Hermitage, held the charges for court at a preliminary hearing Wednesday.

Green was arrested at 12:02 p.m. Tuesday at 919 Fruit Ave., Farrell, police said.
