Primary Health Network,
Pennsylvania’s largest com-
munity health center, cele-
brated 27 years of providing
quality medical, dental, men-
tal health and specialty care
in 2011. PHN has 38 sites in
13 counties across Eastern
Ohio and Western Pa.
In the past year, PHN pro-
vided care to 84,000 patients
and had 290,373 visits at its
locations.
Employing over 500 full
and part-time staff members,
PHN has increased access to
care in underserved areas
and has become a major em-
ployer in the community.
Renovations over the past
year expanded sites in
Beaver Falls, East Brady,
Mercer, Petrolia, Sharon and
Sheakleyville.
These new sites opened in
2011:
ä Andover Primary Care
ä Altoona Behavioral
Health
ä Greenville Community
Health Center
ä The Center for Health
and Well-Being, Farrell.
Ggroundbreaking was
held Nov. 30 for a 33,000-

PHN began implementing
its electronic health record

Thirteen additional sites,
including family practice, in-
ternal medicine, OMT, ortho-
pedic, neurology and podia-

bringing the total number to
34 sites live on EHR.
This year, PHN looks for-
ward to continuing the roll-

network and focusing train-
ing efforts on meaningful use
objectives.
PHN had 24 new

2011. Thirteen primary care

our patients.
Looking forward to 2012,
