J.P. Marsh & Co.
Although the general busi-
ness outlook in the area im-
proved slightly in 2011, full
recovery seems to be a long
way off. Projections are that
it may be several years be-
fore the local
economy is
e f f e c t i v e l y
restored.
For the
past several
years, area
businesses have experienced
severe cash flow problems
and were forced to look to al-
ternative resources for help.
The experienced business
consultants at J.P. Marsh &
Co. helped many of these lo-
cal businesses survive by set-
ting up realistic goals and
budgets. This enabled
Marsh’s clients to prosper
significantly during the
downturn in the economy.
The year
2011 also
p r o v i d e d
many new
o p p o r t un i -
ties. Skilled
workers were readily avail-
able and material suppliers
were willing to discount their
inventory. Many houses and
buildings could be pur-
chased for significantly less
than just a few years before,
making it an excellent time
to buy.
Much of Jim Marsh’s
knowledge about the con-
struction industry comes
from what he has experi-
enced hands-on with his own
construction
company,
Marsh Development Inc.
Marsh Development saw a
32 percent expansion in their
real estate holdings during
2011. During this time they
completed several projects
both in Key West, Fla., and
Ohio.
Marsh states that his ex-
pertise in restoration also
benefits his clients in the
construction business. J.P.
Marsh & Co. looks forward
to continuing to assist their
current and future clients in
maximizing their earnings
and helping their businesses
to grow and prosper in any
economy.

Owner, The Engraving Place
Whether you are looking
for a special gift for a gradu-
ation, wedding, first com-
munion or memorial service,
The Engraving Place has
what you are looking for
whatever the occasion.
The store celebrated its
16th anniversary in 2011. A
Shenango Valley native, I op-
erate the shop with the help
of my sister, Judi Reagle.
Over the years, the range of
products has grown beyond
what you might expect to
find -- pewter bookmarks,
night lights, wine acces-
sories, wind chimes, clocks
and some Wendell August
Forge items.
And since it is The En-
graving Place, all gifts can be
personalized to make it a
tribute to special times and
special people in your life.
You can choose from
dozens of gifts for every oc-
casion including photo al-
bums, picture frames, cuff
links, money clips, jewelry
boxes, lockets, and more. All
items can be engraved with
a name, date, and/or a per-
sonal message.
Your wedding day can be
commemorated with cake
knives and toasting glasses.
We can special order garters,
unity candles and ring bear-
er pillows. As gifts for brides-
maids and groomsmen, we
can engrave not only
bracelets, pendants, and oth-
er jewelry, but also flasks,
lighters and mirror com-
pacts.
The Engraving Place also
offers custom embroidery on
items such as baby blankets,
sweatshirts, backpacks, and
even bandannas for pets. For
funerals, we can embroider a
woven tapestry throw. En-
graved wind chimes and
memory music boxes also
have become popular as me-
morial keepsakes.
With more than 25 years
experience as a gift consult-
ant, I can help you choose
the gift, the lettering style,
and the special message.
You usually can take your
personalized item home with
you the same day.

Traveling Petting Zoo
“On The Go” is the per-
fect description of the unique
business of the T-n-T Ranch
Traveling Petting Zoo. The
area’s first and only U.S.D.A.-
licensed traveling petting zoo
is constantly on the go. As
the zoo’s motto states: “Fur,
feathers, and fun to go!’’
T-n-T Ranch was founded
in 2009 by partners Tracy L.
Carroll and Travis R.
Reynolds with the intent of
sharing in on the love of ani-
mals both individuals pos-
sessed with the people
throughout the community,
especially children.
With the rising costs of
gas and other living expens-
es many individuals may not
get to expe-
rience
a
memorable
trip to one
of the local
zoos, so T-n-
T Ranch came up with the
solution of bringing the ani-
mals to them! Schools, nurs-
ing homes, churches and
even birthday party planners
have already discovered the
benefit of hiring T-n-T
Ranch’s friendly animal crew
to their event! T-n-T Ranch
employs a variety of critters
to showcase at a zoo. De-
pending upon the event ani-
mals may include alpacas, lla-
mas, cows, ponies, tortoises,
rabbits, chickens, sheep,
goats, ducks, turkeys, don-
keys, and even a camel!
Carroll and Reynolds are
both on scene to setup,
cleanup, and teardown the
mobile zoo. Both stock han-
dlers are on hand to answer
questions and educate every-
one about the animals and to
make sure everyone has an
enjoyable experience.
T-n-T Ranch is consistent-
ly adding friendly animals to
their menagerie always look-
ing to improve their services
to benefit the customer. T-n-
T Ranch is open to any
event, organization, business,
religious group, or individual
and will adhere to each
event accordingly.
Providing petting zoos,
live nativities, or animal en-
counters, large or small, in-
doors or out, T-n-T Ranch
and animal friends are sure
to be a big hit spreading
smiles to kids and adults
alike! For more information
