Honorary doctorates given to 3 Westminster alumni

Westminster College, New Wilmington, gave honorary doctorates during the 146th annual commencement ceremonies

Honorary doctorates were awarded to:

Dr. Wende W. Young, a 1957 Westminster graduate and founder of The Elizabeth Wende Breast Clinic in Rochester, N.Y.
Robert E. Lauterbach, a 1939 Westminster graduate and retired chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.
Robert E. Patton, a 1950 Westminster graduate who is a consultant with Bank Consulting Associates of Pittburgh and director of Tango Inc., a private investment company.
Each of the honorary degree recipients shared brief messages with the graduates.
