Sharpsville coach Paul Piccirilli is 42-6 during his four-year ten-ure and has guided the Blue Devils to four District 10 title games, two D-10 championships and the PIAA championship in 1997. ... Napotnik had six touchdowns last week and now has 91 for his career, best in Mercer County history. He also has 4,513 for his career, fifth best in county history. ...     The winner will play either Clearfield or Belmont in the second round. ... Perry lost in the Pittsburgh City League semifinal. ... These two met in the 1997 PIAA first round with the Rod Rutherford and Rob Butler-led Commodores copping a 41-0 verdict. Rutherford red-shirted at the University of Pittsburgh this year, while Butler saw significant action at defensive back. Perry went on to lose in the state final to Berwick that year. ... Perry enters the game after a loss to Oliver in the City League’s first round, but had a week off to prepare for the Tro-jans. ... Greenville’s win over General McLane gave the Trojans their fourth District 10 title of the ‘90s and their second in three years. ...
