Here are area events in which golfers might either serve as a participant, volunteer or spectator (in chronological order):

- Tri-State Section PGA Clubs For Kids Day, 9:30 a.m., May 19, Tam O'Shanter Golf Course, Hermitage. Free to all juniors 18-under. First 50 registrants receive free refurbished club and T-shirt. Info: 981-3552.
- Slippery Rock Area Women's Club 3rd Annual Spring Outing, May 19, Shamrock Golf Course, Slippery Rock. Fee for 9-hole, 4-person team scramble is $30 per person. Info: 794-1319.
