    WPIAL moves hash marks for finals

    Teams that reach the WPIAL championship games at Three Rivers Stadium Nov. 22 won't have to worry about dealing with NFL hash marks.

    WPIAL officials said high school hash marks will be put down on the artificial turf for this year's games, unlike past seasons

    NFL hash marks are 70 feet, 9 inches from each sideline. High school hash marks are 53 feet, 4 inches from the sidelines.
