MERCER COUNTY

President, Mercer County Building & Construction Trades Council

By Sam Shilling
President and CEO, Keystone Blind Association

The Mercer County Building & Construction Trades Council is composed of 17 different trade unions, all of which work in coordination with each other on different job sites.

Our office and meeting rooms are in Sharon, at 326 Brooklyn Street. We have bimonthly meetings at which different business representatives discuss the problems of our industry and upcoming jobs we need to be ready for.

We predict a bright future with the economy booming, coupled with our extensive four- to five-year training programs. Working in close coordination, our jobs are always brought in on time and many times under budget. The skilled building and construction tradesmen are in great demand throughout North America and we look for continued success for many years to come.
