Police look for armedrobber
The Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office has offered a $200 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whomever is responsible for a series of armed robberies which have occurred over the past month in Lawrence and Butler counties, state police in New Castle said.
Four convenience stores, a beer distributorship and a motel were held up in Lawrence County and a convenience store was held up in Butler County since Feb. 22, police said. The suspect is a white male in his 20s or 30s, about 6 feet to 6-feet-2-inches tall and weighs about 210 pounds, police said.
He has been seen wearing dark clothing and possibly operating an older model dark-colored, mid-sized passenger car, police said. The suspect has used a knife to threaten clerks in all the robberies, police said.
