Older residents’ opinions sought
Mercer County Area Agency on Aging Inc. will host two community meetings to determine the needs of the county’s older residents.
Both meetings run from 1 to 3 p.m. They are:
Friday — Wheatland Borough Building, 71 Broadway Ave.
Monday — Leslie N. Firth Learning Center, U.S. Route 19, 1½ miles north of Mercer in Coolspring Township.
The needs of the older population will be discussed for inclusion in the agency’s four-year planning process.
Topics include:
What problems or unmet needs do you most frequently see that threaten the independence of senior citizens in Mercer County?
What solutions do you feel could address these problems or unmet needs?
What actions should Mercer County Area Agency on Aging Inc. take over the next three years to improve service and service delivery to Mercer County’s 60 and older population.
