CP officials: Boy suspendedfor taking knife to school
A 14-year-old Commodore Perry student has been suspended for 10 days after allegedly taking a knife to school.
Superintendent Oliver Rodax said administrators found the knife Tuesday after another student reported the youth. He did not say what kind of knife administrators found.
Rodax said the school board will hold a formal hearing to decide what other action, if any, should be taken against the boy.
Rodax said the boy did not threaten or assault anyone. He said the boy may have accidentally taken the knife to school.
