FARRELL

Fuller witness pleads guilty to theft

A witness who testified against Ronald L. Fuller in his recent murder trial entered a guilty plea this week to reduced charges.

Terry J. Greene, 19, of 115 Wallis Ave., Farrell, pleaded guilty to theft and simple assault in connection with an incident Aug. 25 on Hamilton Avenue in Farrell.

Southwest Mercer County Regional police originally charged Greene with robbery, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, theft, and receiving stolen property. Greene was a prosecution witness in the case, testifying that Fuller told him he killed 13-year-old Jeremy Farrand. Fuller was convicted of first- degree murder two weeks ago and sentenced to life in prison Tuesday for the May 29 crime. During the trial, Fuller testified that he gave Greene a shotgun shortly before the boy was killed.

On the witness stand, Greene said he had been offered a plea agreement to testify against Fuller.

Greene was released on $2,500 surety bond to await sentencing.
