Fuller witness pleads guilty to theft

A Farrell man was arrested Wednesday for having sexual contact with a 4-year-old girl, said Southwest Mercer County Regional police.

Robert D. Ball, 30, of 407 Darr Ave., was charged with indecent assault, endangering welfare of children and corruption of minors.

Between January and March, Ball had sexual contact with the girl, watched a pornographic movie with her and hit her with a broom handle, police said. The events occurred in Farrell, police said.

Ball was released on his own recognizance after his arraignment Wednesday and a preliminary hearing was set for 10:30 a.m. April 26 before District Justice Henry J. Russo, Hermitage.
