FARRELL, SHARON

Task force arrests 3 for dealing drugs

Mercer County Drug Task Force arrested three people Wednesday in what Sharon police said is a crackdown on street-level dealers. More arrests are likely, police said.

Michael McMillian, 47, and Eugena Shelton, 41, both of 638 Lee Ave., Farrell, were arrested at 6 p.m. Wednesday on warrants from Southwest Mercer County Regional police, Southwest said. McMillian was charged with delivery of crack cocaine, possession of crack and conspiracy. Ms. Shelton was charged with conspiracy.

An undercover agent picked up the pair at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday at Roemer Boulevard and Lee Avenue, Farrell, and he asked the agent if she was “looking,” referring to drugs, police said.

McMillian told the agent to drop him off at the 800 block of Lee. He got back in the car and at 6 p.m. in the 400 block of Lee he sold 0.3 grams of cocaine to the agent for $40, police said. McMillian and Ms. Shelton were to be arraigned late this morning.

Carletis Williams, 30, of no known address, was arrested on charges of drug possession and possession with intent to deliver on New Castle Avenue, Sharon, police said.
