Mercer graduates 101, honors top students

Mercer Area Junior-Senior High School honored its 101 graduates — including this year’s valedictorian, salutatorian and 23 honor students — at commencement Friday.

Grant McClelland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard McClelland, 220 McClelland Road, Findley Township, was named valedictorian.

Shawn Snyder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Snyder, 7031 E. State St., Jefferson Township, was named salutatorian.

In addition to McClelland and Snyder, honor graduates were: Sarah Albert, Vanessa Anderson, Sarah Boal, Amelia Brookover, Sara Cochenour, Marie Heath, David Jackson, Jessica Janosko, Danielle Larocca and Janna Leyde.

Also, Thomas Lindrose, Matthew Livenspire, Anna Martin, Jonathan Martin, Amanda McElfresh, Eric Mudrak, Tara Neely, Jodie Ringer, Tiffanie Scilla and Jaclyn Sheehan.
