Bookstore sets weekly story time for ages 3-8

Jerry Stigliano’s BookSource is holding free weekly story times, including themes, beginning today, with activities for 3- to 8-year-olds.

The hour-long activities begin at 11 a.m. The bookstore will provide all materials, stories and crafts.

The dates and story themes include:

  • Today -- "Bunny Time," with Lucee the lop-eared bunny

  • June 20 -- "Game Time," with rhymes and sidewalk games

  • June 27 -- "Fiesta!" and a piñata

  • July 4 -- Closed

  • July 11 -- "Beach Party." Bring a towel and sunglasses.

  • July 18 -- "Dinosaur Stories"

  • July 25 -- "Hawaiian Luau." Children may wear grass skirts if desired.

  • Aug. 1 -- "Jungle Adventure."

  • Aug. 8 -- "Butterflies" and colorful crafts.

  • Aug. 15 -- "Cowpokes and Ponies."

  • Aug. 22 -- "Teddy Bear Picnic." Children are asked to bring a teddy bear.
