PYMATUNING TOWNSHIP

Hermitage man’s death is under investigation

The Allegheny County Coroner’s Office was expected to complete an autopsy today on John G. "Jack" Ivan, who was found dead Sunday morning in a Pymatuning Township mobile home.

Pymatuning Township police said they were called to the Sunnyview Mobile Home Park residence, where they found Ivan, 20, of 3376 Lamor Road, Hermitage, unconscious.

Police said Ivan had been drinking alcoholic beverages during a Saturday night gathering at the mobile home.

Ivan was flown from UPMC Horizon, Greenville, to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, where an Allegheny County coroner pronounced him dead at 10:10 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Neither police nor the coroner’s office have ruled on the cause of death.
