FARRELL

Farrell man released after questioning

A Farrell man wanted for questioning in the investigation of the death of a housemate turned himself in Saturday and was released after an interview.

Cleston Christopher Forrester, 26, of 218 Fruit Ave., Farrell, turned himself in at 4:04 p.m. at the Sharon police station.

Forrester had been interviewed once before in the shooting death of Rasceo "Angel" Riley, 30. Riley was found Wednesday on the sidewalk outside his home, said police, who were called at 11:52 p.m.

Forrester had been interviewed once but after police executed a search warrant at the home, finding a stolen car and a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, an arrest warrant was obtained charging him with receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

"His story apparently was consistent with his previous interview," said Police Chief Joseph Timko.

Southwest did not arrest him on the warrant charges but Timko was not sure whether they would be dropped or he would face them at a later date.

He said Assistant District Attorney Robert Kochems made the decision to release Forrester, who rented the Fruit Avenue property.

Messages left for Kochems were not immediately returned.

Two other men wanted for questioning have not been found, Arthur "Oppie" Paige and Curtis "Spoon" King, who also might be known as Kevin Richards.

Timko said police have no leads as to their whereabouts. No warrants have been issued for their arrests. They have not been interviewed before.
