Auditors release annual report of financial condition
Jackson Township has released its audit report for 2001.
Assessed valuation for 2001 was $4,976,900, according to Shirley Oakes, secretary of auditors.
General fund numbers are as follows:
Bank balance: beginning of year, $9,011; general high fidelity account, $140,224; total, $149,235
Revenues received: tax collection, $146,877; general revenues, $87,414; total, $234,291
Expenditures: general government, $251,867; deficit, $17,576 for the year.
Bank balance: Dec. 31, $12,609; high fidelity account, $103,909; total, $116,518.
Special revenues numbers are as follows:
Bank balance: beginning of year; state fund $32; fire and rescue, $1
