Car arson being investigated

The following is this week's Mercer County Crime Solvers case:

  • Crime: Arson.

  • Details: A 1991 Ford coupe was found at 1:37 a.m. Feb. 23 in a parking lot at 1395 E. State St., Sharon, engulfed in flames. A state fire marshal said the fire was an arson.

  • Call: Crime Solvers at (724) 347-HELP, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Callers can remain anonymous and still be eligible for a cash reward. Anyone with information can also call the Sharon police at (724) 983-3210.

  • Reward: Crime Solvers is a non-profit organization which offers cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone responsible for a serious crime in the Mercer County area.
