Police charge man after knife fight

Ryan G. Ursta, 22, of 530 Clay-Furnace Road, Clark, was arrested at 3:21 a.m. today on charges of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct after slashing a New Wilmington man's neck and abdomen, Sharon police said.

Ursta fought early today with Chris Roscoe, 23, of New Wilmington, in a parking lot at Railroad Avenue and Connelly Boulevard, police said.

During the course of the fight, Ursta pulled out a small pocket knife and cut Roscoe in the neck and abdomen, police said.

Ursta ran off but turned himself in a short time later and was charged at the police station, police said.

Roscoe was treated at the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System, a hospital spokesperson said.
